Jack Kelly, the Philadelphia bricklayer who went on to become both rich and one of the most famous rowers in the history of the sport, permanently in action now along the Schuylkill River. On the left side, the Schuylkill Expressway was built along the west bank in the 1960s. On the right side, in 2012 the river trail biking/ped path was extended out over the river where there wasn't enough space between the train tracks and the river bank. In the background is Center City Philadelphia.
