You don't have to comment on this photo, because I deleted the last one (that worm thing scared me after a while). But on a deeper level, I post things here sometimes for the wrong reason. This time I'm submitting it because I believe in it and don't care if anyone else wishes to validate it.
Right now I'm very stressed. I just became incorporated as a photography business and I'm applying for project grants to show in galleries. The gallery owners are all about money and product, and so I've been really trapped in this. My mission is to provoke storytelling in my community with the photos I create. Storytelling that provokes thought and opens minds to new ideas.
Then I saw this star flower on the ground. Lately I've been finding a lot of things on the ground, and think these things are sometimes very important. This flower is in a glass by my computer to remind me of what's important. I love all the submissions this week and always look forward to seeing what you all produce, and I'm also so amazed at how confident most of you are.
This is SOOC, except for a crop and a slight alteration in white balance.
Everything is coming and going so quickly. Everyday I wake up saying "STARTINGTODAYI'MSTARTINGOVER" and then I don't. I'm stuck in the same rut, but everyone else is moving forward. My mom is pregnant again, my senior year. I have college apps and changing friends and little sleep. Things are changing for the better, seemingly everywhere but here. I hope everything ends up okay. I don't know what I'm scared of anymore.

Yep, it's true. I'm scared of heights. And it's such a bummer because then I'm scared of other things because of it! (roller coasters, sky scrapers, i think high bridges, stuff like that). But I do love airplanes! It's nice to take off your feet from the ground at times. It happens rarely though.
I've been wanting to take this picture since a while ago, today I thought was the day but all afternoon I just stayed on the computer watching In the land of women(crazy wicked!). In the end, at like 7 p.m. I found time. I'm lucky there's still some light at that time!

I wanted to go bike with my cousin today but she had a terrible stomach ache. Hope she's better tomorrow!

There are 6 photos from this series...which I'm calling "Scared at Bedtime". This little guy is so sensitive. He really gets scared easily. Even cuddly tv characters like "Big Bird" scare him! So here he is afraid of naptime in his crib. The story behind this series---The postman comes around his naptime on a motorbike and it makes a really loud noise. He cringes when he hears it. So I put him in our bed this day. I think he might have played it up so he could STAY in our bed for naptime. He won! I just loved the emotion in these shots. I have been meaning to do more emotion shots and I'm really happy with how these turned out.
