First photos taken with my DJI Mavic Mini drone. Fun to use! Can't wait to try out some more locations with it!

Testing the camera with the cat :)

Caught By A In Southern Alberta

Meet the teacher day before kindergarten starts.

Matthew recently had his first wasp sting. Fortunately, Uncle Andrew came to the rescue and killed that wasp with his shoe! However, Matt still runs in screaming hysterically whenever he sees one... and being summer... you can count on it a least a few times a day. Good grief!

Transported from the past, the year 1987, this mannequin seemed to be shocked and horrified to find itself in the year 2008.

waiting for their turn on the stage, the children are so amusing with their funny faces.

Poor wee thing was missing his mum and sheltering under the lavender bush!

I just thought this guy looked cool.

after the fact, the zombies convened a meeting to determine what the best tactics were (zombies with bum legs didn't do as well as ones without, moaning "braiiiiins" actually scared away people and made the zombies less effective) and the best way to smear blood on a shirt

i don't know what these guys did, but they look funny. snapshot from a cafe in the köln airport before takeoff to portugal summer 05...

I'm trapped because I'm a coward. I'm scared of failure, of rejection and worst of all of getting out of my comfort zone. I like my comfort zone. I like feeling in control, like I know what I'm doing. Its called the comfort zone for a reason, after all.

Its just that its so damn boring, lonely and pointless half the time.

Notice Cameron's face compared to all the little girls in these photos. He really truly did NOT like this ride and the 5 little girls seemed to love it.

Bryce's reaction when he really thought about going on that coaster.

Note how much she's pushed up against my leg - we're on the porch. What is she terrified of? Her leash. Because it moves when she moves. And that is TERRIFYING.

Maisie, the mixed Shepherd puppy, was one of the saddest sad sacks I've seen on transport. I expect she hasn't had much human contact until she got to the shelter. At least she wasn't fearful, just sad. :o(

Poor Ashley - here's another shot of her being terrified.

Sorry for the quality of this picture. The night was falling down and I had a cat on this tree and didn't know if I have to call the firemen.

Finally she climbed down by herself with the help of her owner.

By the way, this cat comes from a shelter in New York -:)

Clinging to the backdoor. This was early on... I've learned you have to at least try to see if a mill dog is ok with being outside, but if they're not, don't force them to stick with it (I did that with Kennedy, thinking I was doing a good thing, "exposing" her to the grass, but really I was terrifying her).

Bethenny hadn't been outside again until this past weekend when I was seeing a whole different side of her with the puppies around. I figured trying it out once more couldn't hurt and that I'd take her right back in if she stressed out like this. She didn't run and chase the puppies around like I had hoped, but she spent some time in the yard and then casually made her way back up to the porch where she hung out for awhile. She definitely wasn't 100% comfortable, but I didn't feel like she was stressed.

If I could handle all the work that puppies are, I'd love to keep some around just for Bethenny, but I'm not cut out to be a puppy mom. I worry about them so much more, I don't have a puppy proof house and combined with Bethenny (who carries on when they're not near her, making quite a loud statement to the brand new neighbors) I'm just not cut out for it. I had fun with the bichon boys, but I know my limits and I think I would go crazy with babies around 24/7.

We'll just try to schedule some play dates for Bethenny in the future and that way, we ALL win!
