It was hot as hell today, it finally feels like summer.
For TRP:Single Source Club
My single source of light was compliments of Rite Aid. I did nothing today but float in the pond and went and got pizza and took a photo at Rite Aid. I got a few weird looks but I dont really care anymore. In the begining of this project I was so scared to whip out my camera and take a picture when there were people around. Now, I think it is humorous. I just act like everything is normal, and everyone else is nuts, it is fun.
I really want to work on my night photography, I think night shots are so awesome. I really want to take an awesome night shot before this 365 project is over. I can not believe that I already am on day 227, I only have 138 days left, that is insane. In the begining of this project I was scared that I would not even finish. Now I am way over half done and I am already wondering what I am going to do when this thing is over. I have really enjoyed doing this ..........
One of the several small cracks in the ice. You can see the liquid water that had pored onto the ice and started to freeze again.
Took this one while while I was lungeing the big lad. He seemed to get a tad annoyed when said I thought we ought to geld him if he didn't get a move on! Funny thing is that it made a great picture.....but I don't think I'll mention it again when I'm so close!
I just happen to be in the right spot when this Asian tapir broke the surface of the water to see me standing there with a camera pointed at him. He looked scared and immediately went back under the water.
^This is how I've been feeling for a while now.
A vivid imagination = vivid nightmares
...which includes "feeling" the five senses even in my dreams.
Not a good combination.
Nightmares have seriously reached a point that make me extremely uneasy when time for bed rolls around.
Editing this photo was more challenging than my previous entries since there is so much going on here. Although I like the results, I think I will end up remaking this concept once I get better at photoshop.

PERSONAL FUN FACT: The Inner Monster dolls are SUPER creepy...I honestly don't think I'd ever go out of my way to purchase one. The only way I can envision myself with an Inner Monster dolly would be if she was part of a lot I was already buying. However, the Inner Monster dolls have the COOLEST fashions!!! I was completely enamored by this getup when I saw it in an eBay lot I was planning to buy. There were a handful of Inner Monster pieces in said lot, as well as a mini supply of Create-a-Monster ones. I wasn't as familiar with the Inner Monster dolls, so I didn't recognize any of their attire right off the bat. But I figured they were on the idea of Create-a-Monster fashions, given their designs. This ensemble went straight to use once I laundered it. I bought the eBay lot this outfit was in specifically to help me dress dolls from the "Mountains of Monsters Lot" in March of 2023. I ended up selecting this for my second "1st Edition" Nefera de Nile doll. I wasn't sure what exactly would fit her, due to her slightly larger, taller body mold. I was able to squeeze her into this top, although it is a rather tight fit.
When it hurts to look back and you're scared to look ahead.. you can look beside you and your best friend will be there..

PADDY: "Oh there is no need to be afraid Scout! This is an Easter Bilby."
SCOUT: "What's that?"
PADDY: "It's an indigenous Australian animal, not unlike a rabbit."
SCOUT: "Is it the Easter Bunny?"
PADDY: "No, but it must have been left by him. He's an Easter treat for Cabbage."
*Cabbage barks and wags his tail.*
My Paddington Bear came to live with me in London when I was two years old (many, many years ago). He was hand made by my Great Aunt and he has a chocolate coloured felt hat, the brim of which had to be pinned up by a safety pin to stop it getting in his eyes. The collar of his Macintosh is made of the same felt. He wears wellington boots made from the same red leather used to make the toggles on his Macintosh.
He has travelled with me across the world and he and I have had many adventures together over the years. He is a very precious member of my small family.
Cabbage is Paddy's Pug Dog. He was a gift to Paddy from a friend who also likes Pugs. He is fiercely loyal to Paddy and Scout, but seldom stays around long enough to have his picture taken, as there are always new adventures to sniff out.
Scout is a recent addition to our little family. He was a gift to Paddy from my friend. He is a Fair Trade Bear hand knitted in Africa. His name comes from the shop my friend found him in: Scout House. He tells me that life was very different where he came from, and Paddy is helping introduce him to many new experiences. Scout catches on quickly, and has proven to be a cheeky, but very lovable member of our closely knit family.
I try to make closed eyes, and for me it was amazing for my first time!

We saw each other and we both stopped. I don't think he was posing for me, though I could've misinterpreted his stillness. I stopped, he stopped. I raised my camera and clicked a few shots while he stared. I moved on and he moved on. You be the judge.
so i took a trip into the city sunday to see the tim burton exhibit at the MoMA, and i must say that it was absolutely fabulous. definitely something worth seeing if you're in the area.
i also visited st. patrick's cathedral, which is basically an art form itself. amazing architecture, really. then, my mom and i headed to alex pardee's ZeroFriends store, which featured a bunch of his art- i was stoked. i'm a huge fan of his work. (:
i also lost power saturday evening, and finally got it back on wednesday afternoon. pure torture, i tell you!
