Scanography.

Epson 4490.

When I separated the glass and the cyanotype, after 4 hours of exposure, the flower had dried and remained stuck on the glass. I deposited this glass directly on my Epson 4490 for get this scanography.

So many times that i want to do, to find this, to cath this to do it. But my hands in someway dont handle with it. Also I find the limits to do

This is a small version of my 165x95 cm scanned artwork called "26 and life".

I visited the Kunsthaus in Zurich somewhere in October 2010 and saw a very inspiring work which was done by scanning objects and arranging them. Some days later, I decided to make my own inspired work with stuff I collected in the last 26 years of my life. All items you see are separately scanned and arranged with photoshop.

Now, 9 months between 200-300 hours of work later, here it is. As mentioned before it is a 165x95cm work on a 200dpi resolution (300dpi in my photoshop file, but sized down for printing purposes) and mounted on perspex in aluminium.

I hope you enjoy it!

I've had a couple of dreams lately in which I was drowning. Not very nice. Any ideas what it means.

decided to play around with some scan art. this is definitely challenging but a lot of fun to be creating something in such a raw and spontaneous way. also it reminds me of being a kid and always scanning my face/hands every time i was in the grocery store.

Nothing but the use of a scanner to create these images. "this girl has many physiological issues and struggles with her identity.

Scanography final. EDM has become my absolute life. Not many people really understand the meaning behind these "stupid" bracelets I wear. Kandi represents so many different things; peace, love, unity, respect, escaping reality, going back to childhood, euphoria, etc. All these things are the reason I love electronic dance music.

Winter storage Squash, mould on skin detail

Several different types of fungi had colonised this squash,

and show differing interaction boundaries.

The squashes had been in storage since October.

This skin of this one had probably not been ripened

long enough in the sun before being stored.
