fourth in le month of march project.
sorry for no photograph yesterday, unfortunately, my computer crashed and so now it is in the shoppe.. hoping it will be fixed. i'm going to need to transfer my tens-of-thousands of photographs onto an external hard-drive when i get it back. eek.
i took photos today anyways, right before the storm hit.
but, for now, just a beautiful quote from the ever-favorite john green
i'm going to fix all these scanography-scratches when i get my computer+photoshop back. this was a messed-up text strip from class a while back. i liked it.

The real reason why I was scanning stuff today was because I wanted to do some scanography self-portraits but I got distracted.

Continuing playing with the scanner and (hopefully) moving beyond the photocopying your arse on the office photocopier stage!
I quite enjoyed exploring the "art" of the selfie on the scanner. I don't do many selfies and they are usually not very flattering when I do...today being no different.
If you are quick enough you can scan your head twice as the light source moves slowly across the bed. Covering the scanner bed with cling film helps protect the scanner bed but also gives this interesting texture.
Blinking gives an interesting effect which you can see on the featured image.
