I was searching the loft for 35mm developing equipment when I came across a box of 100's of 120 negatives.

I know they were taken by a late, Great Uncle and I think they were taken in the late 1940's - early 1950's.

Scanned some of the more 'interesting' on a regular flat bed scanner and inverted the image using Photoshop CS2!

Summerland oil wells

In 1894, while digging for natural gas near his home, a resident struck oil. Thus began an oil boom that lasted into the 1930s. Oil is still produced from offshore wells off the coast of Summerland.

Scan results today. Rather too much growth since the last MRI a year ago. Not causing any problems yet, but he'll be moving from an annual to a 6-monthly scan to keep a close eye on where it goes. Ho hum.
