A white-tailed kite is scanning Las Gallinas Ponds for some prey

This female California Ground Squirrel started scanning the trees after hearing the screech of a Red-tailed Hawk. Right after this shot, she scrambled for the nearest burrow.

Scanning the Highway Paddock on Saturday - moments before swooping on a lizard.

A green-backed flycatcher (ficedula elisae) on lookout. This little bird was constantly scanning the sky for flies and, having caught one, returned to this favoured perch,

Female lion (Panthera leo). Linyanti's lion population is plentiful and has adapted to the wetland environment and takes advantage of the abundant prey in the area. Linyanti Wildlife Reserve, Botswana. Conservation Status: Vulnerable

An endless maze of geometry and light, leading back into each other, melting into a sea of reflections.

 

This is the façade of a local high-rise office building. I've passed by this building countless times over the past 5 years without giving it a second though, but this time, with my camera in hand and loaded with a test roll of Adox Color Mission, the reflected colors looked beautiful. And so, for the first time, I took a photo of it.

Large saltwater crocodile scanning for fish at Cahill's Crossing Northern Territory Australia. Cahill's Crossing is the only place that they have been observed doing this.

The seals have a way of blending in, so a proper look is needed.
