Scale models or toy boats from Lines Bros variously sold over the years under the brands of 'Penguin', 'Triang' and 'Scalex'. From the Meccano Magazine August 1954. A simple Purchasing Power Calculator would say the relative value of 45 shillings – the price of the ‘Pretoria Castle’ is now £53.75 – so quite an expensive toy or scale model.
