walk past this one a lot.

Approx. 5 kilometers outside of Steingaden is the pilgrimage church of the Scourged Savior in the Wies, or Wieskirche for short.

In 1730 two priests from Steingaden Abbey made a “Scourged Savior” for a procession from various old wooden figures. To the displeasure of the two priests, the figure arouses more pity than they'd like. The figure of the Savior is withdrawn from circulation and lands on a roof structure. In 1738 the Wiesbäuerin brought the figure to her farm, shortly afterwards the Savior poured out tears. The miracle of tears begins, people make a pilgrimage to Wies. A great pilgrimage begins. The Steingaden Abbey is the landowner of the farm. Despite the abbot's doubts about the miracle, he quickly recognized the potential of a pilgrimage. In 1740 he had a wooden chapel built on the Wies.

The abbey is not very wealthy and wants to make the little church Baroque. But first you want to see how the pilgrimage develops. But instead of ebbing away, it increases. So it is decided to build a new church. In 1743 Dominikus Zimmermann was commissioned to draw up the first plans. On the recommendation of the Premonstratensian Abbey in Bad Schussenried, he came to Steingaden. He has been forgiven for his cost overruns for the church in Steinhausen.

In 1745 Zimmermann began construction, which was completed in 1759. The abbot died in 1745 and his successor went to work with great enthusiasm. He presented the building plans to the elector for approval, but to the annoyance of the prince-bishop, construction was well advanced. The choir and priest house were already under roof when the foundation stone was officially laid in July 1746. The choir was completed as an independent structure by 1749. In 1749 the miraculous image is solemnly transferred to the choir. Now the choir serves as a pilgrimage church, but it quickly becomes too small. The nave began in 1750 and construction was consecrated in 1754. In the following years, the interior was completed. In 1759 this work was completed with the erection of the side altars.

At the end of the day, the construction costs 180,000 guilders (approx. 8.1 million euros). Too much for the abbey. In 1772 the abbot had to vacate his post.

Cathedral of the Savior of Zaragoza

Zaragoza metropolitan cathedral, usually called "la Seo" was built on the site of the ancient Roman forum of Caesaraugusta and the greater Mosque of Saraqusta, from whose minaret elements still remain in the current tower. The building was started in the 12th century in the Romanesque style and has been the subject of many reforms and extensions until 1704 in which the baroque spire is placed, finishing off the tower.

Of the various styles that compose it, the most important elements are the following:

•Romanesque: on the outside, the lower part of the apse. The Romanesque interior of the apse is still preserved, but is currently hidden behind the Gothic altarpiece. In the sacristy, Gastón de Bearn's « oliphant », carved from 11th century ivory and the reliquary busts of San Valero (patron saint of Zaragoza), San Vicente and San Lorenzo donated by the antipope Benedict XIII.

•Gothic: mixed with the Mudejar, especially in the upper part of the exterior of the apse. The current plan of the temple is also Gothic, the result of various extensions. Currently it is a church with a living room or Hallenkirche, consisting of five naves of equal height, covered by suggestive rib vaults, ranging from the simple rib vault, passing through the calls of terraces, to those of starry ribs, fruit of the so-called flamboyant or final gothic. The vaults rest on slender fasciculated pillars, crowned with capitals with plant ornamentation, the oldest and with heraldic motifs at the foot of the cathedral that were already made in the 16th century. Magnificent polychrome alabaster main altarpiece made by Pere Johanand Hans of Swabia , which is considered a capital work of European Gothic. Choir stalls. Museum of Flemish tapestries from the XV, XVI and XVII centuries , one of the 3 best collections in the world. In the funeral chapel of San Miguel (Parroquieta), he is the tomb of the Archbishop Don Lope Fernandez de Luna of the fourteenth century.

•Mudéjar: exterior wall of the Parroquieta de San Miguel and inside it a golden wooden roof. Upper part of the exterior of the apses. The Aragonese Mudejar has been declared a World Heritage Site. Beautifully built and well proportioned, it is the current dome , which crowns the cathedral's transept and illuminates the chancel, made in the 16th century, straddling the end of the Gothic-Mudejar and the incipient Renaissance style.

•Renaissance: include the choir with its chapels, as well as the Chapel of San Bernardo, carved in alabaster, the Archangels and San Pedro Arbués of Elizabethan style.

•Baroque: the Seo bell tower, which was designed by the Italian architect Juan Bautista Contini. The classicist facade, which is currently considered the main one of the temple, next to the tower, is also baroque, although in reality it corresponds to the access of an arm of the transept. We must also highlight the decoration of some chapels and especially the interior covers of them.

The Lord Jesus Is My Savior | God’s word "The True Story Behind Work in the Age of Redemption"

www.holyspiritspeaks.org/videos/true-story-behind-work-in...

Introduction

Almighty God says, "Jesus represents all the work of the Age of Grace; He was incarnated and crucified, and inaugurated the Age of Grace. He was crucified in order to complete the redemptive work, to end the Age of Law and begin the Age of Grace … The work of Jesus represents only the Age of Grace; it does not represent the Age of Law and is no substitute for the work of the last days. This is the essence of Jesus’ work in the Age of Grace, the second age of mankind—the Age of Redemption."

Depending on where you live, this very hardy plant can be seen as a food source, medicine, tea, wine or the bane of your gardening existence.

Commonly referred to as a Dandelion, it has other names: Lion's tooth; Priest's crown; Swine's snout, but its scientific name is Taraxacum officinaleits.

I have seen fields of these flowers and plants that have been cultivated along side other crops. I have also seen beautiful scenes of hillsides adorned with millions of of these bright yellow flowers. They are also some of the first flowering plants available to bees in the Spring time.

I myself have had a hard time with these plants. A sort of love/hate relationship.

Luke 2:11 (New International Version, ©2010)

11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.

'The man in green was wielding an old, rusty, blunt sword, which was obviously not made to fight organic beings. That enchanted sword was capable of slicing through the demon's body to weaken him, but the creature was incredibly fast. With a speed of shadow he grabbed the man with one of his dark tentacles, hurting him severely. With his last ounce of strength the man who never revealed his name raised the mysterious white stone and shouted the spell.'

'The Fear emerged from the shadows many years ago. It came to bring pain and death. Our home island became our prison. He took many of our brothers and sisters. We were left completely defenseless. But one day the hope appeared. The man in green cloak, with a blunt sword in one hand and a mysterious stone in the other. He defeated the creature and sealed it in it's Eternal Prison. But I will tell you this story another time. You must be very hungry after such a long journey. Please, help yourself.'

CHRIST IN THE DUNGEON (“Midnight Savior”) – Exhibition in theManege (Central Exhibition Hall, St. Petersburg) January 2019

after a long long time i had a chance to go for a walk all by myself! after dropping my brother to his college and leaving the car with the driver, i started to walk. i felt a bit shy approaching people! i guess it was because of that long break!

so as i was walking, i saw this cemetery which seemed pretty ancient and decided to have a look around. but guess what! two of the guard-dogs didn't like me sneaking around at all!! they were barking at me and following me around! one of them was looking pretty eager to have a bite of me! i got somewhat scared and then this guy came out of a room and called those dogs off my back! and those dogs seemed to obey his orders!

Shoren Sharkar, is a guard of this cemetery. asked me if i was gonna put his picture in some newspaper! looked pretty upset when i confessed that "I'm just a kid with a camera", nothing more!!

yes i thanked him and left that place as fast as i could! damn dogs! i was starting to get some spiritual vibes! :(
