These landmark Crooked Trees line the Indian path from Grand Rapids to Mackinaw. Ottawa and Chippewa tied down the limbs of the yung maples and cut out central trunks. Crooked Trees were passed over by lumbermen looking for straight timber. This Indian Trail became Old 31

There are numerous little graffiti designs all over Seattle, this is one of my favorites. I wish I knew the artist.

We were ahead 32-0, but as the runner cut back the shutout was in jeaopardy. Then, a small lad with the number 31 grabbed a hold of the runner in the open field and number 51 came over and helped finish him off. I wish it was a better picture, because it was a good story.
