My thrid embellished scrim sample. It is an oval, 6x5" embellished with web stitch and bullion knots in the center and button hole stitch with needle lace around the edge. I tried to show a detail of both elements but not true to colour. I'm not sure where I'm going with this so I thought I'd get some thoughts from the group. I don't know if I should just stop here. The scrim was very densely covered with fme. It is on a white cloth backing. It does need to be damp stretched as well. I do use a milliner's needle and it does make it easier to do the bullion knots. Two strands of embroidery floss is what I've used here. From the scrim base sampler that I first posted this is the one on the lower left corner so you can see how it started out.

This is my sample block for Audrey's P&B Star Sample Quilt Along. My attempt at triangles! I didn't use starch on this block...I will be on my next one. I'm addicted already. Love how this block turned out. I just have to perfect my skills and get the points perfected!!! Thanks Audrey for doing this quilt along.
