There are always sample glazes on his work table with notations on each one for future reference if the glaze is to be replicated...I love the possibilities.
'fire' sample using combinations of fibres and found materials. Sari ribbon, embroidery threads, polythene bags and plastic netting, video tape, wire, handspun yarn, cord, torn fabrics, net, beads, knitting yarns and tapestry wools.

Tried to think of something "me" which was also small & also useful. I think these tick all the boxes...
I made several samples to try to decide which bottom fabric I wanted to use and how I wanted to cut the top fabric. I ended up going with the bottom right pattern. It's a dusty bottom fabric that I bought on sale at Alabama Chanin a few months ago.
