This is just a little sample, part of it is just Silicon, the other part has some structures growing on it.
This was one of the samples from the assignment reconstructing history. It was made out of a bin bag which has been ironed and net packaging from tangerines which was also ironed. I then plaited some crumpled up newpaper and sewed it onto the bin bag with a sewing machine. I also added random zig-zag stich and then some sweet wrapper on top.

I have been debating which two colorways to ply together, I think I am going to stick with my original thought of these two, instead of the orangier one with a yellowier one. They look wonky since I didn't set them, just photo'd them. Ah sampling, if I would just stop being so impatient I would love you more, but you are essential.
The idea is that the finished yarn will be a squooshy Wool Peddler's shawl eventually.
