Matt and Leo wore the same shoes for the wedding. We didn't even it plan it that way.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We semi-eloped with just 5 other people at the wedding: mom/officiator, dad/giverawayer, brother and girlfriend/witnesses, and a photographer. We had our wedding in our hotel room at the Surfsand and then spent the rest of the weekend eating, hiking, playing on the beach and generally having a great time.
The Luma Building is a rare example in Glasgow of an art deco building and was built to coincide with the Empire Exhibition that same year and held in the nearby Bellahouston Park.
Its designer Cornelious Armour was a house architect for the SCWS who worked on a number of their factories and shops. Not a lot is known about his original work although he is credited with extensions to the SCWS linoleum factory, a listed building still in Falkland, in Fife. Interestingly, the same Swedish cooperative also had an interest in this factory. The fact is that Cornelius may simply have been a project architect working to a given design, for the Luma building is strikingly similar to the Luma building in Stockholm designed by Artur von Schmalensee and Eskil Sundahl in 1930. Like Luma in Glasgow, the Lumafabrikens buildings in Stockholm, now called Luma Park, are listed and preserved as offices and housing.
The negative for this photo was also found in the same box as the other negatives I posted. It was some slightly-taller-than-medium format film and I actually had to be creative to fit it in my scanner. The only thing that somewhat dates it is the car in the background.
Guests enjoyed the festivities May 30-31, 2015 at the AMC Highland Center in Crawford Notch, NH, including dinner, a book signing, special screening party, and a hike on Sunday. During the event, NHPTV learned that the program and Will had won New England Emmy awards that same night!
500 people set off on the first ever Maggie’s Glasgow Night Hike for an alternative Friday night out in the city.
Groups of colleagues, friends and families, many affected by cancer, set out en masse on a ten-mile walk around Glasgow on Friday, 17th September to raise vital funds for Maggie’s network of Cancer Caring Centres. Emulating the successful Maggie’s London Night Hike, which takes place on the same night, the inaugural Glasgow Night Hike is on track to raise £100,000 for Maggie’s Centres...The moonlit meander showcased the artistic and architectural renown of the city, through exclusive access to some of the city's most fascinating buildings, including the University of Glasgow, GoMA Trongate 103, Kibble Palace and Maggie’s Glasgow Centre for celebratory tea and cakes.
This 1972 Pontiac Lemans has been owned by the same family scene '78 and was a daily driver up until the late 1980's. The owner brought it to us to be restored as a birthday present for his daughter.
This was a complete frame off restoration, we replaced the floors, trunk floors inner and outer quarters, along with a lot of rust repair to the doors, fenders, hood & trunk lid. The body & chassis was completely dissembled and media blasted down to bare metal. Then covered in epoxy primer for rust prevention and then body work, rust repair and panel fitment. The car was refinished in Transtar No Mix paint, the color matches the original metallic green.
The interior was dissembled & the seats were recovered in a Legendary upholstery kit, new carpet, door panels & all interior panels were installed. The dash & center consul were refinished
The motor was sent out to Morley Performance to be rebuilt . The factory brakes were upgraded from drum to disc brakes.
We had to replace the convertible top structure with one form another similar car. It was media blasted and refinished then sent out to Sebastian Interiors to be recovered.
