Sunset skyline time lapse shot last week in San Francisco. I have another sunset time lapse with more clouds, but I haven't had time to process it yet.
Here are various shots featuring Salesforce Tower. The building in front of Salesforce Tower is a recent addition and blocks what was a better view a few years ago.
Despite the common name, 'Sago Palm' (Cycas revoluta) technically isn't a true palm tree at all. These fairly low-growing plants with long green fronds are actually 'cycads', a group of ancient tropical and subtropical plants that usually grow from a trunk that doesn't branch out; it produces nuts but doesn't flower or fruit.
Seen and photographed at Transbay Terminal Rooftop Park at the new Salesforce Transit Center in downtown San Francisco, California.
As the "snow moon" set over the San Francisco skyline, the sun was coming up behind us...providing just enough light to cast reflections off the buildings, but not enough to dim the moon glow.

I've shot from the end of Pier 41 when it was just Coit Tower and the Transamerica Pyramid in this view, but the Salesforce Tower fills in the middle space nicely.
This view from Slackers Hill in the Marin Headlands is a short hike up to avoid the large crowds and traffic at Battery Spencer down below.
I don't know what this part of town is called, so I'm calling it downtown. The chain link fence is unsightly, but there's a good view of the towers from this perspective.
It was interesting to see the animations and videos play on the top of the Salesforce Tower. It's not high resolution, but I may have been viewing it at a much closer distance than usual.
The moisture over #SanFrancisco was so dense for Moonset which made it difficult to get sharp picture. Here is my double header this morning. Alignment with Salesforce Tower and TransAmewrica Pyramide.
