I've been really depressed lately and my interests have changed a lot so... that's why I've disappeared, if anyone cares.

I clipped some of my fuller peonies and brought them in to save the blooms for a few more days - the rain that is predicted over the next couple of days would surely knock them down and destroy them. They won't last long indoors but I'll get a little extra time to enjoy them.

Over the last three weeks, three of our four "Kids" have been overseas.

This afternoon, the oldest arrived home (She was the last to return to Home shores) after three and a half weeks' holiday in Holland, Germany and the Czech Republic.

Flying into Christchurch in a Singapore Airlines A350, she transferred to an Air New Zealand A320 for the final leg to Wellington. (Above)

I spent a few hours around midnight on Saturday night out with the St John's Ambulance volunteers in the town centre helping create a safe environment for folk to have a good time. All part of Operation Safe Haven.

With the rebel infiltrator still to be found, the security keeps being stepped up. Stormy and his squad were sent to add additional locks onto the safe where the plans for the base are kept. Stormy was sure that was the same droid from yesterday but could not be 100% sure. It certainly was not assigned to his team but perhaps it was there just keep an eye on proceedings.
