With the promise that I will keep an eye on your car this mural provides safe parking! Spotted in Quarteira on the Algarve in Portugal!
Times are troubled and all the terrible news about Covid-19 makes me sad. My country The Netherlands is heavily affected too and like so many people in the world I'm ordered by the government to stay home as much as possible. Of course I do so: stay safe!
Luckily I have an escape for sad times: just put on a nice dress and I have an instant happy smile. So, that's what I do and hopefully my smile will make you smile too. We all need a bit of optimism these days.

Of note the Park Avenue footbridge was demolished in January having been deemed un-safe ... unlikely to be replaced anytime soon.
Very old safe. I thought why would someone put wheels on a safe? Then I realized it was so heavy, the wheels aren't much use!

My Ma's got a real affinity with this girl,.so this one is to show her she is safe and sound and sleeping in her box!

Current weather is not good for outdoor photography, so here's an image fresh from my unpublished archive...
I'm convinced that with the trend over the last ten years or so in repainting school contract vehicles to emulate American Yellow School Buses, the likes of B&Q and Wickes probably stock a shade of paint called "Safe Yellow" which is bought by bus companies in large quantities. I jest.
Harris Coaches of Fleur-de-Lys has adopted such an all-over yellow livery for five of these stylish Plaxton Verde-bodied Volvo B10Bs that are used on school contracts. New to City of Oxford in dual-door configuration, they have been converted to single-door and upseated to 62 in 'three plus two' configuration. Single examples of similar vehicles that originated with Oxford can also be found in the fleets of Stagecoach in South Wales and Edwards of Llantwit Fardre.
Demonstrating her neat conversion, 17 (N613 FJO) was captured at the Gelligroes roundabout when undertaking an afternoon run in June 2011.
Grodd’s Office is not without surprises! Hidden behind some maps is a safe which contains bananas and documents on all the Legion’s inner workings. The safe actually functions, as seen in the above pictures.

Ostend, the industrial harbour, a favourite haunt!
We are back and on the hunt for images.
The gentleman stops and starts chatting... mainly about his cutie pie in the back, safe, and loving the ride!
On the Continent, the electrical bicycles are very well appreciated by the more mature population.
He pushed off again, his eyes were closed, I noticed he did that a lot, like up-calling the images? LOL
To emphasise his words...
Another nice encounter.
Have a super day and thank you, M (*_*)

Well, when walking along this pathway you are nice and safe however, if you were around the play area, to the left, you wouldn't be so safe when Storm Ophelia came through earlier in the week!
The little playground is still flooded!

When going downstairs on high heels it has become second nature for me to lift my skirt a bit. This allows me to see my feet better and place them safely on the steps, and ensures that I don't inadvertently step on or trip over my skirt when it's a bit longer. As a bonus it often allows for an improved leg, stocking, upskirt or high heel display. It's practical, a lovely feminine gesture and often nicely sensual too.
f you've lost your way
I will keep you safe
Well open up all your world inside
So you come alive tonight
I will keep you safe
Well I will keep you safe
I will keep you safe

Lyminster, West Sussex.
These are definitely not the sort of pics I expected to be posting this afternoon! The page should have been filled with tulips at the Arundel Castle Tulip Festival, but the car broke down at Lyminster. It was already our second attempt at getting there ... guess who forgot both her camera and phone and we had to go back!
Rob from the AA was there within an hour and was extremely helpful. The computer diagnosis revealed a problem, which he hopes he has fixed but suggested we get the garage to double check. In the process he discovered a lump of something ... fat ball? ... shoved into the air inlet ... mice? He followed us home and did another check ... so far, so good.
But we couldn't face a third try at getting to Arundel. We will try again, but unfortunately there is no sunshine in the forecast anytime in the next week. Sigh.
Only one issue with the AA ... you pretty much HAVE to contact them via the app or email ... the phone number redirects you there. Where we were, there was virtually no internet signal. This needs a rethink.
Place: Guangzhou, Guangdong Province
Chinese name: 长城赛弗 (chángchéng sàifú)
Year of launch: ?
Great Wall was established in 1984 and is China's largest maker of SUVs and pick-ups, selling over a million SUVs each year in the local market, today mostly under the Haval-flag, the Great Wall-badge is now only used for the pick-up Wingle and small sedans (Voleex C30, C50), which will be phased out soon. In 1998 Great Wall already reached top position in the Chinese pick-up market.
Great Wall has been infamous for copying lots of models from manufacturers like Toyota (Deer, Sail, Feelfine Concept, Phenom/Voleex C10/C20R, Florid/Haval M4, Cowry/Voleex C80, Coolbear/Haval M2), Isuzu (Sailor, Sing, Pegasus, Hover/Haval H3, Wingle), Honda (Voleex C50), Nissan (Voleex C70, never saw the daylight though) and Fiat (Peri/Haval M1). Great Wall's earliest models include the Deer, Sail, Sailor, Sing and Pegasus. The former two were copies of the Toyota Hilux and 4Runner, while the latter three were all based on the old 1988 Isuzu TF/Faster/Rodeo platform. Great Wall sales really took of after Isuzu Axiom-clone Hover was launched.
