This picture was taken at the bottom of the stairs at my apartment complex. I am about to turn my bike and take it up the stairs. As you can see from the water spatters on my boots, it has been raining. I think I was in a bit of a hurry to get home when I stopped and decided to take this shot instead. I'm glad I took the time to slow down. I like the colors here and the contrast between the natural (rust) and the mechanical (bike) and the human (me).

It bothers me a lot that there's a difference in the clouds either side of the handle, but that's just the way it was!

This old boat has been at our summer camp for a long time. The last time it was used as a pontoon boat (i.e. party barge), one of the pontoons took in water and sank. Not all the way, but, there were people swimming.
