A visual journey through serene natural landscapes and intimate wildlife encounters. This collection captures the essence of coastal wetlands, dramatic rocky shores, and the delicate details of flora and fauna. The series transitions from the warm, golden hour light reflecting off tranquil marshlands and crashing ocean waves, to the quiet solitude of a wooden observation hide. It features close-up portraits of local birds, macro shots of morning dew on purple coastal flowers, and the silent atmosphere of a moonlit wooden bridge. The set also explores varied perspectives, including a crystal-clear underwater glimpse of aquatic life, an aerial view of structured water ponds, and the rustic resilience of traditional dry-stone architecture under a brooding sky. Crafted with a focus on deep textures, cinematic lighting, and a contemplative perspective on the natural world.

R-32, Wisconsin’s longest rustic road, offers a 37-mile journey through several county parks and the Peshtigo River State Forest. The route features multiple species of hardwoods and conifers, along with numerous granite boulders and outcroppings. R-32 also offers vistas of the Thunder and Peshtigo rivers.
Wisconsin's Rustic Roads system was created to preserve many of the state's scenic, lightly traveled country roads. Features of Rustic Roads include rugged terrain, native vegetation and wildlife, or open areas with agricultural vistas.

First time making one of these. A sneak taste revealed some tasty filling. The thing did produce a lot of liquid and leaked inside the pie dish. Not sure how to deal with that. Maybe not worry about it and just serve it from the dish.
Okay, this is the last shot of this shed I'm posting. I took this photograph along Airline highway, outside of New Orleans.
Taken at Milford House, a rustic outdoors resort on two lakes in Nova Scotia, close to Kejimikujik National Park and (I think) the community/district of South Milford

Distant shot of the Rustic Bunting seen in Golden Gate Park in Dec. 2014. The photo really does not do this bird justice. Beautiful!

Our first look at that threatening and gorgeous thundercloud over shore of Rusticoville just inside the mouth of the Clyde River, which is also known as the Hunter River...this was the maiden voyage of Maurice Roy's newest member of the Rustico fleet. He's spent hours and hours of labor to get this boat off his front lawn and finally onto the water...
