6 uova
100 g di parmigiano grattugiato
200 g di mortadella tagliata a dadini
sale, pepe, noce moscata
maggiorana (consigliatissima! io non l'avevo)
Riempire la base con questo ripieno, poi coprire tutto con la restante pasta. Bucherellare anche in superficie, ungere di olio e cuocere in forno moderato per 45-50 minuti.

We found this magnificent old fireplace fireback from an old farmhouse in NE Pennsylvania, and are incorporating it into the range backsplash in our rustic kitchen.

What would you call this one? Tribal? I'm having trouble describing this pattern.

This is the sign I was in search of, the sign I drove nearly 90 minutes to find. That is, 90 minutes from the *correct* turn off. First though, I went the wrong way and ended up in Virginia Dale (see previous images) ... by the time I made it back and over to the designated spot, a storm had come on, and I was *so* mad at myself for once again reading a map backward (sigh), and missing my chance. But then all of a sudden, a ray of light broke through the clouds. Directly on the sign and the area immediately around it. I was so happy!!! People, this is the kind of luck I had all the time, in Colorado ... too many clouds? Shadow? Rain? Why, I'd just wait a moment, stand out in the splendid wide open, quietly take it all in, and soon enough, the light would change in the most wonderful way.

Architecture.
a try at texturing. I hardly do that. Being a graphic designer, I try to keep away from photoshop and keep thing as original as possible. I am not showing my design skills, am here for my love of photography.
This stunning coffee table / chabudai is made of reclaimed oak and steel. The heart of this custom coffee table / chabudai is a reclaimed butcher block top believed to be from the 1960's. The top is 1 3/4" (4.445cm) thick and measures 36" x 36" (91.44cmx91.44cm). The legs were hand made and finished from quality steel with visible welds for an industrial style, and were then force rusted (and clear coated) to bring a rustic feel to the piece.
The overall height of the table is 16" (40.64cm).
This incredible table features 3 sacred symbols: The Flower of Life (sacred geometry) as the background pattern, a Greek Key and the Om Symbol, and is protected by several layers of gloss Spar Urethane.
The center piece (Om symbol) was painted in an antiqued bronze which beautifully and subtly compliments the rest of the table which is a warm oak (natural wood color) and ebony finish (stain).
This table will work beautifully in any home as a coffee table or chabudai (traditional Japanese dining table that sits low to the ground) just to name a couple of its potential uses. This piece is sure to bring drama and impact to any space its in with its interest created by a warm and elegant top contrasted by the industrial feel the of the legs. Any way you use it this table will bring a beautiful and warm feel to any space it is in.

A friend took me and my family to her hometown of Schwabach, Germany. We parked on the outskirts near her childhood home and walked into town. As soon as we got off the trail and into the city, this door caught my eye. I loved the contrast between the dark door and the light wall as well as the textures. I was torn between color and black and white as they are both interesting to me on this one. So I will present it in both. Feel free to leave a comment on which you like best.
