This sits of the Bank Dole cut just past Trudles Lane Bridge. It appears derelict and piled high with rusted junk, but it sports a large satellite receiver dish...

This rusty former houseboat has lain in a backwater of the River Ouse at Newhaven, East Sussex for many years. A start was made on scrapping her a few years back but this ground to a halt and the remains have lain here ever since. Here she is seen on June 11th 2020.
Tanner Springs Park in Portland Oregon's Pearl District..
A very unusual small urban park that recreates the wetlands that used to cover this area.
The red beams in these pictures are made from old railroad tracks - some over 100 years old.
The remains of the species I posted recently that is in the comment below. The remains after a couple of weeks must have a name but we could call them stumps as a place holder. I notice the rust colored discoloration on the leaf of the host plant.
Manufacturer: TSR
Line: AD&D
Set: Rust Monster and Rakshasa
Catalog title: Rust Monster
Catalog #: 5612
Base marking: TSR ©1984
Release date: 1984
Sculptor: ?
Painter: Spooktalker
Date painted: 2011
Notes: This is one of the better figures in the TSR line and one of my favorite rust monsters as it's pretty cute and hews close to the Monster Manual illustration. The green, chipped "paint" on the shield is actually an ultra thin layer of Sculptamold paper mache/plaster combo. I'm really happy with the pink/red eyes. A gloss coat gives them a bit of realism/emotion. I tried green, glowing eyes at first and that was a no go.

Matthew 6:19 says, "Don't store up treasures here on earth, where they can be eaten by moths and get rusty, and where thieves break in and steal." This cast iron pan has rust on the outside--of course, we could treat it, so it wouldn't, but then that wouldn't make for a good photo opp. Though I love this pan--and the aebleskivers Jim makes using it--it's not one of my most prized possessions. But I do wonder, where are my treasures? And would my actions actually match my answer?
Denton Farm park fro the 2012 Southeastern old threshers reunion. the comment remains the same, one man's junk is another's treasure. never so true as at the bargain tables at Denton. I didn't ask how much this item was
Jim (active metabolite) suggested I explore this rusted out car ... thanks!
I heard a bit more of the story from a fellow dog walker. Apparently it was a stolen car, dumped about six months ago in the bush. The council moved it to where it is now (still in the bush, but near a track it could be towed away from). About a week later, it was torched. It's still not been taken away. To me, it's become a bit of a feature on this particular walk, and I'd miss it!
