Walking around Bedford Ave in Williamsburg Brooklyn trying to get some good candids wasn't easy. I was getting a lot of funny looks and feeling a little uncomfortable. I decided to pass the camera off to Vanessa and see what she could do. Five seconds later this guy came up and just posed for her, he didn't say a word. Just stood there and waited to get his picture taken, we said thanks. He loooked like he just finshed his daily run.
I went on the G + 2 Year Anniversary photowalk - Vancouver, BC yesterday. It had been a few years since I was able to be in town for a photowalk. Good times!

Hi Partner, this is what I have so far. Still have a way to go though as this is about half your desired length :o) How would you like it quilted? Straight lines, random lines? White or in a different colour? A border before the binding? Let the binding be the border? Feel free to make suggestions :o)

I've made a table runner matching my rainbow pillow (it must be quilted).
The only problem is that we don't have a table in living room:)

Not a mammal I was expecting to run into, so this American Mink was a welcome (and unwelcome given their predatory tendencies) sighting near Port Allen, Perthshire. A lifer for me.

Close-up of a table runner made from repurposed thrift fabric.
The green fabric was a thrift store find, a long piece of printed Japanese fabric that probably was part of packaging for a gift box of Japanese tea.
I quilted it, but predictably it got a little puckered and puffy and uneven.
Her make up to me was a little overdone
Till she explained she`d just finished the Color Run
