Snow Runners are common Creatures with uncommon speed. They are frequently seen dashing through the snow, and although they have no means of defense, they are able to evade any predator with ease.

The Arctic Fox is an amazing opportunist. Smaller than red cousins, these small members of the canine family are supremely adapted for life in some of the coldest regions on the planet. Although they eat predominantly lemmings, they will scavenge whatever they can find. In this case, an unfortunate caribou fell prey to a pack of hungry wolves. The fox managed to walk off with the remains of the scapula, or shoulder blade, despite large size. #ArcticFox #BladeRunner
Taken in 2008, so many years ago, with Canon 20D, my first REAL digital camera and my first Canon L lens. And I don't remember what sport event it was...
On this one, I adapted a pattern from one of my books. It was not for a table runner, so I lengthened the pattern. I sewed the text prints and red connecting fabric together first, using the quilt as you go method, then stitched a single echo to either side of the seam. I cut out the circles, and used Shades Soft Fuse to fuse them to the background. It is a nice fusible product, because it isn't overly stiff. Raw edge applique on the circles....I can provide the name of the book once I dig it up again.
