So today I borrowed an extra flash and a wireless trigger from a friend for an event next week. I hadn't ever used the wireless trigger, or done very much off camera flash stuff before, so I decided to practice. I really like how this looks, and it highlights the gear I will probably be using for some of the event.

Here, I was to ensure i was experienting with the Rule of Thirds. Therefore, as seen i purposefully placed the horse in the left hand side of my photo. With the horse looking in the opposite direction to the camera, I was able to create a leading as the attention of the audience was to see the horse, then be slowly lead towards the sunset. I enhanced the sunset colours a little to create a contrast against the sillhouettes of the trees and horse.

Rule of thirds is shown here by the sea and the line in between the water and the sun, also by the guy fishing.

I chose this picture for my Principle of Design for Rule of Thirds because the main focus is at the cross hairs.

This is rule of thirds because the Sign is in the left third of the screen.

Clearly when this sign was put up for the first time in the sixties. It was quite easy to avoid the cars, caravans and pedestrians. Now the only place you're guarenteed to avoid them is the sea.

rule of composition- the object is not in the middle and obeys the tick tack toe rule, that is the object must be at the side.

why is the photo good-the object is very clear and that can feel it is so near to us. the colour is sharp enough to show the quality of the picture.

how can the photo be improved- the side end must be cropped out properly to avoid disruption for people to see the picture.

Everything Hanging out

The Turfcutters Arms is a strange place. Best abide by the 'local' rules.

For the rule of thirds photo, I first went to setting ad searched diligently for the camera section. Once I had it, I lined up my water bottle and computer on the two lines to make it aesthetically pleasing.
