Yes I'm back again.
However due to my main computer on which I edit my work being struck down with a big bad virus, this picture and all the others I am uploading, were Unedited but have now been replaced with Edited versions. So enjoy and Thanks for your patience and understanding.
I do still hate everything about this shit that is new Flickr and always will, but an inability to find another outlet for my work that is as easy for me to use as the Old BETTER Flickr was, has forced me back to Flickr, even though it goes against everything I believe in.
I don't generally have an opinion on my own work, I prefer to leave that to other people and so based on the positive responses to my work from the various friends I had made on Flickr prior to the changes I have decided to upload some more of my work as an experiment and to see what happens.

My Sigma 150-500 is now my partner Sandra's Lens. I had Sigma rebuild and update the bios. A super job!!!! There is a lot of life in this old lens

15/100 - Best Nature & Landscapes (100x: The 2015 Edition)
Several rules (some are my own) being broken here:
1. Macro shot hand-held - not on tripod as I usually prefer.
2. Used automatic focus - I prefer manual focus for macros.
3. Camera tilted 45 degrees from horizontal - not a fan of tilted shots!
4. Intentionally saturated background colors way too much using Lightroom - when adjusting colors, I normally try to keep colors as natural as possible.
5. "Normally" when using selective coloring, the flower would be in color and the background would be in black and white.
Despite all this, I like the way this image came out!
For Sliders Sunday, completely in line with the rules!

You can approach this theme from any perspective you can think of: No idea, shoulder pad or hairstyle is too big! Your doll could pay tribute to one of her favorite style or music icons of the '80s as seen on a teen magazine or music cassette cover. She could be a mallrat, shopping for a punk leather jacket and lace gloves. Is your doll getting physical by sporting leotards and leg warmers like video workout queen/actress Jane Fonda, or is he about to cut footloose a la Kevin Bacon at an '80s themed costume party? From your doll sitting in a room with Duran Duran and Princess Diana posters on the wall, to riding in a sleek, "talking" Pontiac Trans AM, let your imagination go as wild as the decade!

Rogue is wearing a graphic tee of The Uncanny X-Men Vol 1 #171 comic book cover which was published in 1983. This is when we see Rogue officially become a member of the X-MEN team. I know this isn't an overly outrageous '80s photo, but her hair does look a little big. xD

The "Agnes, I want to be a... (no, surely you're kidding me??!)" play set. This is intended to be tongue-in-cheek so I hope I don't offend anyone! When I started trying to get my head around this, I started to think about dolls that were not sold in stores, then on to dolls that would NEVER be sold in stores and it took me here. Agnes as a - ahem - 'working girl' seemed like the kind of play set you would almost certainly never see in stores! Re-reading the rules I think I may have gone off slightly left field with this!
This set:
Agnes with her lingerie and I'm afraid she has two bad habits - she drinks and smokes, hence the extra pack of cigarettes and lighter.
Included in the gift set too are her Travel Pack comprising carry-on luggage, passport and money for when she is jet setting off to meet a 'friend' in a glamourous location. She needs to be discreet so always packs a pair of dark glasses.
To meet the needs of her 'profession' she also has the requisite dressed-to-kill red dress and killer heels also in red. Her jewellery is classy but eye-catching - sometimes she wants to be noticed.
Of course she has her cell phone and iPad to stay in touch and arrange her next 'client' meetings.
The gun is for... protection and the attaché case for carrying all her cash!
Also included are a pair of Bunny ears and handcuffs for... well use your imagination!
I hope you enjoy my cheeky creation - Agnes thought it was hilarious! ;-)

At one time, parking was not allowed in this area. The tree's bark grew over the sign posted to warn people. The authorities began allowing two-hour parking. The tree began to claim that sign as well. Again, the rules changed, adjusting the time of day people are allowed to park.
Appropriately, a police officer drove through the parking lot as I was taking this picture.

Step 1.
You must register (for free) in the Classic Castle Forums on www.classic-castle.com
(Be sure to read the terms of service and frequently asked questions of the CC site before registering. )
Step 2.
While waiting for your registration to go through, build a cool fantasy-castle LEGO sigfig to act as your character throughout the game. It's also a good idea to write a nice background story of your character. (Loreos obviously)
Step 3.
Post a picture (or link to a picture) of your character and his/her story in the LCC signup thread (on the CC forums)
Be sure to specify which faction you wish to join! (Loreos obviously)
Step 4.
Once you've posted in the signup thread, you're an official member of LCC!
You may now post in your faction's official thread and join your faction's Flickr group. (Loreos obviously)

Step 5.
Before embarking on your LCC adventure, it would be a good idea to learn about the many histories and events that have already taken place in the LCC Table of contents
