At the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway loco crew members need to be multi-skilled. A trainee fireman is seen spending some time in the signal box at Llanfair to become familiar with its operation and to receive tuition in the use of the Divisible Train Staff method of single line block working.

For Our Daily Challenge topic 'Break the Rules.' I learn a lot and sometimes make myself happy when I break standard photography rules. I think its good to find new ways of seeing. Make way for happy accidents.
