I ordered her early in December, just received her today. As a consolation Purelati gave me this years calendar :) She is terribly cute, those big sparkly eyes makes her more special. She is my first normal resin lati yellow and I didn't know it's very close to my white. Anyways, she comes with her stock wig which looks so awesome with those layers, I just love it!
This is Elizabeth, a limited editions Siblies doll by Ruby Red.
I made her dress, inspired by a Sears 1979 Fall Winter catalog picture.

This drop-in spent most of it's golden years outside a cattle stockyard in Ocala, and it's got more than a few years of grime to go.
Making it's appearance was all the talk of the Spring Barn Finds Bash, but by the time it arrived, this one was already winding down.

Thor and Amy Muller are two of the nicest people you'll ever meet. I first met them when we had our challenging Zooomr 2 launch at their Valleyschwag Hoedown. Since then I've gotten to know them a little better.
Thor and Amy are the co-founders of Rubyred Labs in San Francisco. They have a great cereal bar there amongst over things.
I took this shot of Thor giving Amy a kiss at Mike Arrington's TechCrunch7 party. I was really happy that Amy liked it enough to even use it on her blog. She writes a blog called Mommybrain and is a very devoted mother to their son Quinn. We spent a lot of time at the TechCrunch party taking about kids and the challenges of raising kids these days, schools etc.
They also are behind the company Valleyschwag where you can subscribe to a monthly service that will send all kinds of cool tech schwag to you in the mail.
I always love seeing people in love.

El barrancolí picogrueso o cortacubas de pico ancho (Todus subulatus) es una especie de ave coraciforme de la familia Todidae endémica de la isla de La Española.
Mide de 11 a 12 cm de longitud y pesa en promedio 9,8 g. Es un ave de pequeño tamaño, de pico recto, relativamente corto y ancho. El plumaje de sus partes superiores es verde claro, su garganta roja y el resto de sus partes inferiores es blanquecino con matices grisáceos, amarillos y rosados y con tonos rojizos en los flancos.
Mientras que su pariente el barrancolí picofino prefiere las zonas altas, el barrancolí picogrueso prefiere los hábitats de bosque de montaña muy húmedo a más baja altitud, entre los 435 y 1.700 msnm. Para anidar, excava túneles en los taludes fluviales como un martín pescador.

The Broad-billed Tody (Todus subulatus) is one of the two species of tody native to the island of Hispaniola. It can be identified by its small size, stubby beak, ruby-red throat, and green back.
While its close relative, the Narrow-billed Tody is more prevalent in the higher altitude areas, the Broad-billed Tody prefers lower altitude habitats. To nest, it digs into a river bank, similar to a kingfisher.
The Broad-billed Tody is evaluated as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.

This is my First ever Photographic commission. It was an order from my wife Mags :)
It was her Christmas present done on canvas size 1200mm X 900mm. I have just finished hanging it on our Lounge-room wall and happily she likes it! Phew :)
Dark Ruby Red is her favorite Frangipani colour.
On my trip to Ohio, I had the pleasure of visiting a private garden, the owner also the owner of a local nursery. Although some of the garden was still under renovation, I was able to pull a few shots.
