29th May 2014 - Ruby Princess moored at Pierhead in Liverpool. Ruby Princess is a Grand-class cruise ship owned and operated by Princess Cruises. She was built in 2008 by Fincantieri in Trieste, Italy. She is a sister ship to Crown Princess and Emerald Princess.
Ruby-throated hummingbird. I was setting up for some flower shots and this hummingbird came out of nowhere and kindly waited for me to pay attention.
My Ruby-crowned kinglets are taking full advantage of the suet feeders. This was shot on the 12th, when there was still snow on the ground here. Luckily, my area escaped additional snowfall, though areas just south and farther south of here got some.

Joe Parks and I celebrated this year's Thanksgiving in beautiful, FREEZING cold Olympic National Park. I'd been hoping to visit Olympic for years, and it didn't disappoint! We spent the better part of Thursday driving up from Portland, arriving just in time to catch the sun going down over Ruby Beach.

I thought it might be a Hutton's Vireo, but the black bar beneath the white bar on the wing and the beak... anyway... I Googled it.

this is ruby may. while i was super busy writing my last book she was assisted me in putting together a lot of my montage portraits she is a super fast lightroom / photoshopper. she also wrote a chapter in my 2nd book on music photography.
i have not posted any trend spotting pictures form Brighton Source mag in a while as I have been super busy. managed to save up 3 months worth for your viewing pleasure you can check em all out now in hi res in my latest blog post.
if your into tumblr you might like to know that i have started fragmented portraits where i will be slowly uploading all my montage portraits new and old. The beauty of this new blog is that the images are uploaded as PNGs witch means that if you want to reblog them you will not get an ugly white border on Tumblr blogs that don't have white backgrounds.
i also have a tumblr blog called lomokev's tit bits where i post my work and the work of others that i find interesting. in addition to my main tumblr blog i also have my little vanity blog called lomokev everyday witch are posted from the everyday app for the iPhone

I"m pissed - Ruby- throated Hummingbird - 07.09.2020. This bird is very territorial. Does not let anyone near the feeder. When I stop by to see if they has food, she flies close to my ear and when her food runs out, she comes looking for me at the window. - 07.09.2020.
