It wasn't until I was looking through the fuzzy pictures from facetime yesterday that it hit me how sad I feel. I haven't seen the Bears (apart from Ben on a flypast before Christmas) since September. Yesterday the lapatop was set up in Roxy's bedroom and Roxy showed me different things, was in turn a ballerina and horse rider . . .

Roxy is mad about Harry Potter/ This cake wasn't made by Abby, but when you have 3 small scale parties 3 home made cakes cannot be expected!

yesterday morning I had a long facetime session with the east London contingency! Abby was using her IPhone and I was using my IPad and took some photos. Imagine taking photos from 13 miles away.
Abby and girls were in the garden, and it was the next best thing to watch them for about an hour and a half playing and Abby and i chatted - what to do about the fox who is wrecking her garden. Has anyone any tips how to prevent him entering?
I think she is wearing her leggings inside out!
A waterlogged marquee establishes the apparently condition of the Roxy Theatre in Coleman, Alberta. A local resident that we chatted with said that the “For Sale” sign had recently been removed from the building.

Anther facetime photo from yesterday. They are quite difficult to take as the laptop at Roxy's end is placed on the sofa there and I am on my Ipad here trying to be quick enough to get a moving child in the frame! The light isn't wonderful after 4pm, so we have a great deal of fuzziness!

On Sunday the Bears came for tea and an evening meal and Jane came over in the evening, but sadly Max wasn't well. After the meal, we played Telestrations. Abby and I wondered if Roxy would need some help. The idea is that you are all given a card with a number of topics on it, 1-6 - someone (Roxy) throws the dice and we have to write down what is no. 5 or whateverd the dice shows on our card.
Now these topics can be easy - or hard - ultrasound, being th example that comes immediately to mind. And whatever you have wriiten down, you turn the page and draw it! And a sand eggtimer is set. Once drawn you pass it on to the person to your left and they have to write down what you have drawn.
It is a type of Chinese whiispers. But did we need to be concerned about Roxy . . . of course not . . . she looked at a picture Jane had passed to her and confdiendtly wrote serenade!

we went to east London yesterday and Abby was involved with a photoshoot for her most recent costumes, so we had the girls to ourselves until Ben came home at 7pm. Roxy insisted that Peter should go upstairs with her and had him searching under her bed for a box . . . with dressing up clothes in it. Here she is, choreography by Elsie!

Today was a Roxy day. We played quietly which suited me perfectly, because I had a bad night last night.

Roxy took the story from Gramps and read it to us (never mind the page was upside down). She is quite bossy and we were not very easy to control . . .
