Taken during a visit to the Esplanade rooftop with some friends. I had quite a difficult time getting a proper exposure for this shot (notice some of the overblown areas); I would prefer tone-mapping several composites to try to recover as much dynamic range as possible; but then again, I'm uber-tired from today's Wild Wild Wet adventure so I'll save the PP for another day.

This shot is of the rooftops as seen from the snickett that cuts through to Ship Court car park. I just spotted the lovely spire of the Town Hall and thought it was worth sharing.

Another self portrait test with my new Nikon SB-20 flashes. Just the 1 used this time.
This is the view from my flat in downtown Christchurch.
Lumix GF1 + 7-14mm with the Nikon flash mounted on the camera.
Eating noodles straight out of the saucepan (like any good backpacker should) and other lunchtime delights on the first day of Spring in Auckland on the roof at Nomads Auckland backpackers hostel on Fort Street.
