This is the rooftop from my first apartment in Japan that I shared with some other ex-pats. Because we lived on the top floor the whole roof was ours. The apartment was fairly old and dirty, but I doubt I'll ever have a balcony as good as this again in my life.
During summer we had two hammocks and a paddling pool to cool down in. The best part — and something that is quite rare for Japan — was that we were allowed to have BBQs on the roof too.
Looking out from the roof of one cathedral onto someone else's house, you can't help but be envious. They have entire trees out there, and I'd bet there's a pool too.

It was set a yellow filter, but had loaded color film.

This is the view from a room on the seventh floor of the Leicester City Centre Premier Inn. I can't work out whether this is part of the same building or a separate structure, even after looking at Google Maps. I don't know why, but I was surprised to see those blokes working out there on a Sunday morning.

Now I notice that the shopping carts are also arranged in a geometric pattern.
Only the parked bikes are rather unorganized...
