Taken from a friends apartment in Manhatten.
Taken with my old medium format Rolleiflex. Shot on 120 b/w film, then scanned with a Nikon Supercoolscan 900.
An unusual shot taken at night in the fog. It gives the appearance of a sunrise/sunset but is in fact a streetlight bleeding over a rooftop.

Seen while walking across the Sydney Harbour bridge - I liked some of these urban rooftop gardens
Taken during a visit to the Esplanade rooftop with some friends. I had quite a difficult time getting a proper exposure for this shot (notice some of the overblown areas); I would prefer tone-mapping several composites to try to recover as much dynamic range as possible; but then again, I'm uber-tired from today's Wild Wild Wet adventure so I'll save the PP for another day.
Best viewed large.
This shot is of the rooftops as seen from the snickett that cuts through to Ship Court car park. I just spotted the lovely spire of the Town Hall and thought it was worth sharing.

“This lake exceeds anything I ever beheld in beauty, with the exception of the arbutus islands of Killarney. It is long and narrow, and has the appearance of a mighty river winding among the mountains and the forests”
Percy Bysshe Shelley
