The view from the kitchen out to the west on days like today is quite stunning, especially as the sun begins to fall behind the silhouette of the castle in the distance.

finally got time to take a picture with my flashes. my vacations in Colombia have been great so far. so much good food to eat until yesterday when i got two of my wisdom teeth pulled out...not that fun. only two more to go (tmrrw)! but on the other hand i get my braces off when i get back home in the US.
it's really cold over here at night during summer...it's basically like that all year long. i hope you can see the mountains in the background, somthing im not used to because it's all flat where i live.

Colas Tug 60076 catches a bit of sun as it rides the viaduct over the rooftops of Accrington, Lancashire with the 08.40 Preston - Lindsey discharged bitumen tanks (6E32). Meanwhile the spire of St John's Church won't be outdone and makes its presence felt towering over just about everything within sight.
