Theme: Romance
Going back through the wedding album, we decided to reenact the wedding ring / marriage license picture. Along for the ride this time is the Mother's ring and all that it symbolizes. Forty-three years this summer - in that time many things have changed but some, fortunately, have not.

I'm getting ready to be out of town to do some more Disaster Relief work following Hurricane Sandy, assuming we can even get there due to the incoming snow storms (headed to Brooklyn, NY). I'll be doing debris removal with other Oklahoma Baptists in areas where the tidal surge flooded the lower floor and basement of homes on Long Island.
I'll be online when I can, if our destination has WiFi. But I probably won't be commenting much on pictures (slow, old laptop) and must submit this week's pictures early.

In Delhi, my wife and I attended an under-the-stars production entitled "Ram: A Paragon of Exemplary Virtues". It was a breathtaking "dance-drama" based on the Ramayan, detailing the romance of Lord Rama and Sita through many obstacles and challenges. A story that is important to the Hindu religion. Unfortunately, my regular camera was not allowed, and we could only take pictures (iPhone) after the end of the production. Luckily the cast posed for us. This is Vidya Sharma, who played Sita.
This truly lovely evening was conceived and Directed by Shobha Deepak Singh
Recently finished a photo shoot paying tribute to Alabama Whitman (Patricia Arquette's character in the film True Romance), so here's the first shot from it! Hope you dig :)

Eek! So much pretty! And the rim light! Usually when I have a shot like this, I've had to drop in clouds to make the skies more interesting, but no, Hawaii is just that magical for sunsets that no Photoshopping was necessary. Well, besides minor color adjustments, of course. No photo can't benefit from a tiny bit of editing!
Romance coincides with the movies. It is something we do not have to, but tend to share the experience with loved ones. It is a great bonding time that can be spent wherever.
