At first, we thought that surely the sign on the left was merely indicating that the paranormal section and the romance section were next to each other. We were quite amused to discover that, in fact, it IS a "paranormal romance" section with books about lusty encounters with vampires, werewolves, Charlie Steadman, etc.

Early morning at Loch of the Lowes, there were three pairs of crested grebes all at various stages of courtship. The light was poor but if you take enough shots the likelihood is one will be reasonable.
Based on 1950s Romance Comics.

Oxford Bodleian MS Bodl 264 fol-57v
Porus enthroned holding his sword upright, speaks to Alexander (still in disguise), he carries a sack over his shoulder and holds his horse by the reins.
Two 6-line decorated initials: ‘M(ontes)’ in blue and red on gold ground and ‘A(lixand[re])’ in red and white on gold ground; three smaller decorated initials, all with heads.
Top margin, a bird is shot through by an ape grotesque, a rabbit runs the other way.
Lower margin:
The relationship between Porus and Alexander.
Left, branch has stag lying down looking back at grumpy lion sitting up.
Right, branch has old man riding on a donkey with lively dogs snapping at him from front and back.
My Fine Romance Eugenia is wearing a dressmaker details dress, barbie pearls and Novi shoes. Thanks to KingKevin for pointing it out that the Novi shoes fits barbie and fashion royalty. The shoes are out of this world fabulous !!!;-D!!!
