Life of a Shepherd boy certainly changes when being able to talk to your love whenever you (or she) wants.
Achmed was our guide in Dana Nature reserve. He told us about his life as a shepherd. How he communicated with his girlfriend / wife by leaving messages on certain trees and rocks when he was on week long trips in the mountains with his goats.
Times are changed. He became a guide as part of the nature conservation project in Dana Nature reserve. Mostly he guides day trips and can go home at night. Also he has a cell phone and can be reached by his wife and family at all times.
However he gained a lot of convenience, romance has been lost.

The Island Romance is a familiar sight on Casco Bay with its open upper deck fitted with a jaunty canopy over the stern. There are benches for seating, and tables can be set up for a buffet and bar service on the enclosed lower level. Bands love to play on the upper deck. Depending on the event, the Island Romance can comfortably accommodate 150-175 people.

Icy Romance 6-Jan-2012 This piece is another personal best! This lampwork heart has an ombre freckeled base starting with a cool blue and graduating to a sunset purple pink shade. The based is encased in clear, then a lovely buttercup yellow daisy adorns one of the corners of the heart. High quality Swarovski crystals finish the shape of the heart and accent the hues of the bead. At the bottom of the heart dangles a beautiful teal Swarovski Crystal that helps bring out the beautifule sea tones in the lampwork piece. A lovely wirewrapped bail completes this pendant. From the top of the bail to the bottom of the dangling teal crystal the artisan pendant is 2.5 inches long. Wearable art at its finest!
