Here comes my entry for round 3 of RogueOlympics 2023.
This time the subject is "Risiko" (risk).
What can be riskier than being a frog who wants to find his way home?
Welcome in the year 1982 when Atari VCSruled the (gamer's) world!
This is my reminiscence to Frogger - a very popular video game at that time.
I played it until my fingers got numb. Oh, happy days...
Enjoy!
Rolli mouse playing with his new toy, the "Cheddar Getter"
Built for Marchikoma, and for Round 1 of the RogueOlympics.
RogueOlympics has started again, with the first prompt being "As Sweet as Sugar". Also an entry for the Sweet Scenes category of the Adorabuild contest on Bricknerd. I did not have any ideas early in the week, and then didn't have much time when the concept did come. Still had fun assembling this fantasy portrayal of the joy a parent experiences having fun with their kids. 89 parts were used.
Extra images on Brickbuilt.
Robin and John meet for the first time when Robin wants to cross over the bridge whitout paying. Made for RogueOlympics round 7.
My Entry for the RogueOlympics 2020 Week 6 where you have to build a MOC with the limit of max 101 Legoparts.
This week's theme: Mechanical
For Rogue Olympics Round 2 the prompt was adventure... for which I thought of many different options... but the sketch of this build spoke to me the most, I thought the looming head out of focus in the background would be really neat and immersive. So there ya go - I went with "action adventure" of the comics variety... seems I'm brewing a theme accidentally ha!
For those of you not familiar, a sentinel is a robot designed to kill mutants in the X-Men universe.
Main picture is on my main account here.
Built for Rogue Olympics and the theme for the second round is Weather.
In each round builders must use maximum of 101 parts to make their creations (this one is 76). You can join the contest in any round on Rogue Bricks Forum!
Secure you Pomeranian Puppy Pin today!
This pin is the perfect owlrounder: It cannot be harmed and will never leaf the frame. When the day gets owld, take your puppy on a walk and keep it at heart.
This is my entry to RogueOlympics Round 5.
This is my build for Rogue Olympics 2021 Round 6* roguebricks.de/forum/index.php?thread/3051-rogueolympics-... this week theme is "Nature".
I present to you My creation "The Sides of Nature"...
In this MOC, I wanted to present the general idea of "Nature", which gives us all the goods, resources and boundless beauty and joy, and at the same time is capable to destroy us for a split of the second, both us, and everything around us.
*In each round builders must use maximum of 101 parts to make their creations. 88 parts are used for this MOC. Еnjoy it.
Special thanks to Dan for editing this photo. Thank you very much dan.ko56!

Here comes my entry for round 7 of RogueOlympics 2023.
This time the subject is "Begegnung" (encounter).
I decided to build the iconic scene at the end of the movie "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" by Steven Spielberg, when the alien spacecraft is coming down over Devils Tower.
My personal interpretation is however, that the aliens gave a lift not only to the volunteers but to the whole Devils Tower area including the landing place in front of it ;-)
Enjoy!
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
This is my entry for RogueOlympics 2023 Round 8, with the topic "Ikonen / Icons". The RogueOlympics are a build contest by the RogueBricks Community, with each week featuring a new topic and a part limit of just 101 pieces (which I used exactly).
I chose an icon recognized all over the world. The statue is based on the stretched minifigure concept by Jens Ohrndorf, which I’m a big fan of. The pedestal is a bit simpler than I had wished for due to the part limit, but I also made a more detailed variant for which there are free instructions on Rebrickable.
Bouncy castles are always fun, even if having children fling themselves at each other is not necessarily safe...
Built for the Rogue Olympics over on the roguebricks.de forums. Each week builders have one week and 101 parts to build a creation for the theme. This week's theme was "Birthday", and I used 48 bricks.
Even more iconic than the tower itself, are the tourists taking pictures trying to push it back up. Made for the final round of RogueOlymics 2023.
Who watches the watchmen??
Built for round one of the Rogue Olympics. All entries must be at 101 parts count or below.
My entry is from my main account here.
I believe it's 94 parts per the image here.
Should be a great contest!
A newly improved version of my latest chibi characters. I gave all of them a new stand. Not much changed for Ahsoka, Scorpion and Wing Mario were originally made for the Rogue Olympics, so capped at 101 pieces, now I added a few pieces, so they are ready to be displayed at an upcoming exhibition.
Here you can check out the video tutorial:
Here comes my entry for the second round of RogueOlympics 2024.
Only 101 parts maximum are allowed for each MOC.
This time the subject is "Gefahr" (danger).
First thing that came into my mind was how dangerous a vacuum cleaner is for LEGO bricks.
So, the scene can be interpreted as an autobiographical anecdote :-)
I remember playing on the floor as a small child at my Grandma's place, while she was cleaning the room and I was in fear for my treasuries.
I think that is a fear many of us have shared...
Enjoy!
As a young god, Vulcan found out that he can control fire. Not even that, but he was also able to produce it from thin air. Years later he will learn that his fire is the Scorching Turtles favorite snack.
My build for Rogue Olympics 2021 Round 4*. In each round builders must use maximum of 101 parts to make their creations. This one is 71 pieces.
Internet is mostly made up of ads and cute animals videos. Built for RogueOlympics 2023 week 2, category "Internet".
This is my build for Rogue Olympics 2021 Round 4* roguebricks.de/forum/index.php?thread/2979-rogueolympics-... this week theme is "Magicale".
The portal of beauty is located in the magical forests, right next to the lavender fields of the Kingdom of Secrets. The fairies Kireina and Utsukushisa manage and guard this portal
*In each round builders must use maximum of 101 parts to make their creations. 98 parts were used for this MOC and I was able to include 6 minifigures. Еnjoy it.
Build created for the Rogue Olympics contest!
101 parts exactly, and some fun editing and graphic design afterwards :)
To meet the part count it's a shell... and only has three wheels haha.
Enjoy!
For all werewolves, full moon days, the hours before dark, are the worst. Everyone is desperate, like this one staring at the moon.
I wasn't very inspired by the theme and as this week I didn't have that much time, I made something fast. To be honest I'm not very proud but I'm glad I was able to use 2 Bionicle parts
My entry for The Rogue Olympics, Round 1. The theme was "Twilight". It contains exactly 60 pieces.
Hope you like it :)
Perhaps ordering all that Lego online wasn't the best idea...
Built for the Rogue Olympics over on the roguebricks.de forums. Each week builders have one week and 101 parts to build a creation for the theme. This week's theme was "Impulse", and I used 101 bricks.
This is my build for Rogue Olympics 2021 Round 7* roguebricks.de/forum/index.php?thread/3083-rogueolympics-... this week theme is "Reaction".
I present to you My creation "The Box"...
In this MOC, I wanted to provoke reactions in the viewer when he/she sees the contents of the box...
*In each round builders must use maximum of 101 parts to make their creations. 90 parts are used for this MOC.
Еnjoy it.
This is for Rogue Olympics Round 1. In each round builders must use maximum of 101 parts to make their creations. I've used exactly 57 pieces.
It's an open theme, so I chose to do a Star Wars one. Some of you know how much I like the Razor Crest and I love to build new version of it. So here's another one :)
The use of your mind might be useful to solve that Mastermind ! What a pun, isn't it x) Anyway, after searching for idea, I wanted to make like a jungle temple entrance with and closed door linked to 2 pressures plates where you have to put things onto in order to launch the opening system. The connection with the theme would have been to put a thinking minifigure struggling to find a way to open the door. I started building while trying to use not common part like Bionicle but didn't really come up with a good moc. I finally decided to build a Mini Mastermind with that kind of old version as I didn't really want a modern one. It only took an hour of building.
My entry for The Rogue Olympics, Round 6, where the theme was « Mind ». It contains exactly 101 pieces.
A duck? No, look at the scale ! Wouldn't have made sense to put a giant foot x)
Built for Round 7 of the Rogue Olympics. Prompt was "Reaction" so I chose to build a very strong reaction of a dog dad coming home to his precious pup Ginger destroying his new couch!
100 total parts if you're counting!
See the main picture on my main account here.
Jay gathers all his courage to ask Nya out on a date.
This is my entry to RogueOlympics Round 4, this time it was very tough to create a detailed scene with just 101 parts.
This is my entry for RogueOlympics 2021 Round 4, with the topic "magisch/magical". The RogueOlympics are a build contest by the RogueBricks Community, with each week featuring a new topic and a part limit of just 101 pieces (which my entry reaches exactly).
I struggled a little with the topic as it's quite broad. But then I interpreted it more along the lines of fantasy and fairy tales and once again turned to movies, specifically Jim Henson's fantasy classic Labyrinth and I captured the magical moment of Sarah entering the labyrinth, with "the castle beyond the Goblin City" in the distance.
Also, if you like Labyrinth, be sure to check out ColonelCandy and his awesome build from the film, which is also a proposed IDEAS project. I actually stumbled across this conincidentally after I already considered to do Labyrinth as my Rogue Olympics entry and his amazing model assured me to follow this intuition.
This build is for round 1 "Free build" of the RogueOlympics at roguebricks.de where you may only use 101 bricks or less. This one is exactly 101
Let's do some preparation for potion-making!
This is my entry for round 4 (Topic:"Magical") of the RogueOlympics - Using exactly 101 parts
This is my entry for the fourth round of RogueOlympics 2022 - "Mut" ("courage"). With only 101 parts allowed this was again a challenge.
Do you like it?
A word of advice: do not wander arround the fields as a druid when you're carrying dozens of potions, if you want a even field of radishes. At least, your own clumsiness is useful to people, but I hope farmers like radishes as they could become the new winter meal.
My entry for The Rogue Olympics, Round 3. It contains exactly 101 pieces once again.
For this MOC, I got a very small inspiration from the book A Middle-Earth Traveler: Sketches from Bag End to Mordor by John Howe, the page 23. Even if this MOC is a long way from inspiration, I still wanted to mention it.
As time goes by, the duck's fear of camera seems to fade, well there, take care not to get caught with the radish tips.
This is my entry for RogueOlympics 2021 Round 3, with the topic "einfarbig/monochrome". The RogueOlympics are a build contest by the RogueBricks Community, with each week featuring a new topic and a part limit of just 101 pieces (which my entry reaches exactly).
This entry doesn't feature the most impressive building techniques and is really just a figure setup. But with the topic I had this awesome scene from John Carpenter's horror classic In the Mouth of Madness in mind, where Sam Neill at some point wakes up on the bus in a completely blue world as part of the mind tricks Sutter Cane plays on him. I wanted to pay homage to this scene with a bunch of classic 90s figures and featuring my younger self trapped in this blue world full of people smiling like madmen. And if you're a Technic fan, maybe you find it even scarier. ;-)
When strength won't deliver, using your sense of balance may be the answer. Sisyphus has understood this, and this way, no longer does a rock find itself at the bottom of the mountain, having to be pushed without bringing the wrath of the Gods, it is free to wander and give free rein to its senses, not its muscles.
Sisyphus or Sisyphos, a character from Greek mythology, was the founder and king of Ephyra. He was a devious tyrant who killed visitors to show off his power. This violation of the sacred hospitality tradition greatly angered the gods. They punished him for trickery of others, including his cheating death twice. The gods forced him to roll an immense boulder up a hill only for it to roll back down every time it neared the top, repeating this action for eternity.
My entry for The Rogue Olympics, Round 4, where the theme was « Balance ». It contains exactly 98 pieces, and is done on Studio.
Concerning this MOC, even if it’s a mythological tale, where you have the freedom of interpretation, I got inspired by three works of art:
- A day in the life of a modern Sisyphus by AO01, I really like that picture, in particular the color palette which feels like hell, and the big sun with several color as some kinds of shadows.
- « Sisyphe - Illustrations » by erhui1979, at first, this picture inspired me as I liked the dark blue and the red combined which makes a great constrast, I turned towards a warmer color palette.
- These two pictures are very similar, only the color palettes change, and I gotta say, it was my main source of inspiration for these pictures:
SISYPHUS – Landscape Illustration and The Myth of Sisyphus – Landscape Illustration both by carrythefire
A bit too hot fot the duck and it also comes with the fear of taking a small stone on the face.
This is my entry for Round 6 of the RogueOlympics contest (Theme: Attack)
Title: The Kraken’s Attack
Heave ho, me hearties! Behold this unfortunate vessel, caught in the tentacled grip of the legendary Kraken! This be no mere squall that has befallen this poor ship; it’s the wrath of the deep itself, a fearsome sea monster dragging her down to the depths.
The microscale build captures the chaos of the assault, with the ship tossed about like a bilge rat in a storm.
These red tentacles, rising like the arms of the damned, leave no doubt about the fate that awaits this hapless crew. They’ll be feeding the fishes before long!

Here comes my entry for the third round of RogueOlympics 2024.
Only 101 parts maximum are allowed for each MOC.
This time the subject is "Volumen" (volume).
My association of volume = sound volume led to the idea of a funny interpretation of "too much volume". In fact too much volume may blow you off your feet ;-)
Enjoy!
Hi everyone, here's my entry for round 3 of the Rogue Olympics, made with exactly 101 parts.
The prompt for this round was: Risk.
This time around I decided to build minifigure scale, on a 8x16 base.
What's more risky than walking on a tightrope, with a barbell, between two cliffs, over a sea full of sharks!
Everything was going well, until a small little bird arrived on the scene...
Here's the video tutorial:
This is for Rogue Olympics Round 1. In each round builders must use maximum of 101 parts to make their creations. I've used exactly 57 pieces.
It's an open theme, so I chose to do a Star Wars one. Some of you know how much I like the Razor Crest and I love to build new version of it. So here's another one :)
Here's my 7th contribution to the 2024 Rogue Olympics.
The theme was "Chaos".
Here's the behind the scenes video: youtu.be/NaJcc7t_MK0
Roguebricks RogueOlympics 2023 - an 8 round contest in which you can't use more than 101 bricks per round. Round 3 - Risk
So it's risky to ride a dinosaur and even riskier to do it in rough terrain but the most risky business is to build something totally random, take it with you on vacation and then hope that what you built fits the next round and does not exceed the parts limit - so I bet everything on one card and apparently it was an ace!!
My first entry for the RogueOlympics 2021 at roguebricks.de
The challenge is to visualize the topic "Upside down", and my first connection was someone doing a handstand. To make the scene more interesting, I added some more typical things you might find in a gym.
lego-fied internet meme for RogueOlympics round 3: Bon Apetit
Just 101 bricks allowed, this time I did a quick one with only 55 parts
Here comes my entry for the eights round of RogueOlympics 2024.
Only 101 parts maximum are allowed for each MOC.
This time the subject is "Fokus" (focus).
For a passionate nature photographer the most important thing is, whatever happens, never to lose focus. And that can be understood in two senses :-)
Enjoy!
