MaryAnne told us an inspiring story about the worst day of her career. She was the top supervisor of a data center that handled card transactions from all over the world when one day, a terrible hurricane came and flooded the building up to two stories and downed all the machines. Of course, the backup generators had decided to be down that day as well.
When MaryAnne first heard the news, she told us she went to the bathroom, threw up, then put on a little eye makeup and went back to face her bosses and coworkers. She immediately made sure that everyone in the building made it out safely.
