This guy did not like the look of the road ahead (completely flooded out). Decided to reverse back into the parking lot.
An attempt at reverse-lens macro- the Command key on my MacBook Pro.
Shot using the standard 18-70mm F3.5-5.6 kit lens on my Sony A200.
The Reversing Falls bridge dates to circa 1915. Stone pier at far left is part of what remains of a railway bridge built in 1885. Please Note: When I originally posted many of these earlier pictures they were FULL-SCREEN. Then I got a new higher-resolution monitor, and suddenly they're miniscule! What's worse, flickr could not (or would not) compensate-----and THIS is how they look now. It's really disappointing, because some of those old shots were pretty good if I do say so myself. A picture like this should be four or five times this size for proper display.
28mm lens reversed on a Canon Rebel body. My first experience with shooting through a lens backwards... and it was not easy. This aphid was so small it was nearly invisible to the unaided eye.
This shoot was inspired again by Linder's 'she she' series. However as my other shoots were mainly headshots, I decided to expand my inspiration, and do abstract full body shots in our home studio. There is no photo where you can see the full models' face, adding to the abstraction of the photos. I thoroughly enjoyed this shoot.
My first try at reverse lens method for macro with my D3100... I did it handheld and it was tough as i had to constantly push the lens inwards and aligning it properly while using holding the aperture lever to open it as wide as possible...
This was shot in my garden and I had a lot of failed shots because of the extremely shallow DOF which resulted in blurred subjects. Besides that i couldn't use a high shutter as it will underexpose the photo thus resulting in handshake... I hope you all like it :)
This image is taken with an 18-55mm VR lens dismounted and handheld in reverse.
This lens is currently not mounted.
This has potential, I think I will buy some reversing rings to play around with.
One of the big appeals of the second round of CCnG was the fact that the reverse sets were going to be made. As somone who already had the original, I found this very exciting.
In this photo you see the reverse of the Tsangan and 10-Key sets.
This little spider was a great subject, I took a dozen shots and he barely moved. Taken with a 24mm reversed onto extension tubes. A hinged hot shoe allows the flash to lean out over the stack. A DIY snoot fires the light in front of the lens.

Jadi lensa dilepas dari mounting nya, kemudian dibalik dan ditempel aja ke body... rada repot soalnya kudu megangin lensa dan muter fokus (AF gak jalan)
i just found out about reversing lenses today on some random flickr comment. it is basically touted as the cheap way to do macro photography.
such a cool idea, never would have thought of it myself.
this photo is from reversing my 50mm on my camera. could be a little sharper, but it was just from playing around. i just ordered a "lens reversal adapter" from ebay, so that should make playing around with it a lot easier.
