Having taken on water, you can now see Hunslet Austerity 0-6-0ST No.35 Norman complete the loop line and now is reversing back to the platform at Bolton Abbey where he will be re-coupled to the carriages so he can go on his merry way back to Embsay.
The railway is part of the Embsay and Bolton Abbey Steam Railway and I decided to give it a black and white feel, so the photograph would be more dramatic. I captured this image with my Panasonic G7 digital camera on the 26th April 2016.

The amazing phenomenon of the Reversing Falls Rapids is a sight to behold. We were there just in time to watch the Bay of Fundy’s monstrously high tide reverse the flow of the mighty Saint John River; Witnessing on the waves and whirlpools that result from nature’s tug-of-war, at Fallsview and Wolastoq parks.
Detailed close up of the interlocking mechanism. The little clip pops out of the throttle lever when the reverser is engaged. This clip hits against the interlocking mechanism, thus preventing the lever from forward movement. The first 2 pics show the clip and the interlock, the last 2 show better detail of the lever portion without the interlock installed.
Reverse angle shot of the Lloyd Tilghman statue at Vicksburg NMP. Giving Tilghman's horse the honor it deserves. LOL
Manly men can wear this with pride. Perfect for that messy outdoor BBQ picnic, in manly dark colors and prints. Forest and eagles on one side, brown plaid on the other, entire bib is made of light flannel material. Very manly. Men men men.
Reverse of photograph of a soldier called Iver, c. WW2. It is mounted in an embossed card and hand inscribed "Best Wishes, Iver" in blue ink.
Taken at Studio of Roy, 143 Rochester High Street, Kent. The back of the photo and the card are printed with the studio and the photo reference number. The card is signed "Roy" in pencil on the inside bottom right corner.
If anyone has any information on the soldier, uniform or studio I'd love to hear it. The soldier has some connection to the Barr family in the Medway Towns, possibly Rainham, Kent.

This guy did not like the look of the road ahead (completely flooded out). Decided to reverse back into the parking lot.
I used a 50mm Nikon Series E on the body and held an unknown model Pentax 50mm to the lens reversed.
Shot with manual settings.
This is the top of a lightbulb.
The victims - errr, participants - in the 2010 attempt to hold the Reverse Ring mill around in the Signal Knob parking lot prior to the start of the event. Left to right: Dan Rose, Sean Andrish, Keith Knipling, Paul Crickard, Mike Dobies, Steve Pero.
This deep shelter in Coulsdon was one of four planned by Surrey council before the second world war. Afterwards, it was used for an optical grinding operation, and a motor vehicle repair workshop. Today it is largely forgotten, and surprisingly dry and in good nick. It was a nice place to try out a new torch. Many thanks to the lads who had lit some candles down there before we arrived.
The Reversing Falls bridge dates to circa 1915. Stone pier at far left is part of what remains of a railway bridge built in 1885. Please Note: When I originally posted many of these earlier pictures they were FULL-SCREEN. Then I got a new higher-resolution monitor, and suddenly they're miniscule! What's worse, flickr could not (or would not) compensate-----and THIS is how they look now. It's really disappointing, because some of those old shots were pretty good if I do say so myself. A picture like this should be four or five times this size for proper display.
