While I have been tinkeing with my cameras; my wife with the aid of my son; has been respraying and reupholstering our four dining room chair, after decades of hard use.

it's a hottie lol

The horn idea was part of a combo between Lava Beast and Storm Beast that was just... alright but not original.

Speaking of the original Beasts, Lava is good but has some weak connection points and Storm Beast is my fave 'cause of the functions and parts (Mmm, Metru blue... <3)

Original Photo Those of you who know my photography know that I'm not a huge user of Photoshop or image altering, 99.9% of my work is au naturale. But I do tinker now and then -- so I'm doing a small blip of them just for fun (all tagged photoshop).

This MOC.....it's been done and photographed since months ago. The day that I got my braces to be exact (one week before school started). I kept saying that I would post it once I edited the background, but that clearly didn't happen.

As you can see, this revamp can be made into it's Nuva form by simply adding some armor. This is probably the fastest Bionicle MOC that I have build, only taking a couple hours in one day. I'm really happy how it turned out, there are some things that I would like to improve, but I don't feel that they're that important to fix anytime soon

Here's what you were waiting for Kamil Z, who I kept promising that I would post this picture soon.

Finally got around to posting this, he’s been sitting on my desk for 5 months already.

Around the end of last year, I saw Joshua Johnson's magnificent Iruini revamp (flic.kr/s/aHskM3zNRb) and decided that my Lhikan could use some beefing up. I borrowed his leg design, and built everything else to scale - this is the first Moc I've done at this sort of size, so I'm not entirely confident about adding all the bulk that Iruini has.

The armpits of all my Mocs in the past have been massive, so I wanted to change that for this revamp. I’m rather satisfied with the result, Lhikan is far more posable than he was, but at the cost of being a touch more fragile. The CCBS shell in the torso is held in place by a single 3L rod angled into a slizer foot, and part of the shell is pushed against a 4L cross axle. It tends to pop out most of the time (some of the pictures reflect this…), which is a shame. I really wanted to use Lhikan’s original swords, but they just weren’t big enough, so Master Tahu’s swords were used instead, albeit with custom handles.

Additionally, this revamp was an ideal time to test out my new lightbox. Looking back at the photos, the lighting probably wasn’t bright enough, so that’s something to work on next time. Regardless, any feedback on photos or Moc are welcome, thanks for looking!

The Akaku Nuva is pretty ugly, his actual new upgraded mask is pending.

Kopaka's new Champion Rank Kanohi Akaku will also function similarly to the highly advanced visors from Metroid Prime 2. Combat, Scan, Thermal, X-Ray, Dark, Echo and Command.

Secondary Mask: Blizzard Hercudrome

Gives the user: stronger defense, evasion, rapid dashing & flight boost

I had a few ideas for upper arm armor but the shield and snow flake combo wouldnt allow it. now its just the shield magnetized and bolted onto Kopaka’s left arm, both components can be combined into a larger throwing weapon, thrown separately or become a second shield.

Kopaka’s sword is locked tightly in his skilled blade-master hand due to the same magnetic grip

Frost Edge Great Sword.

Kopaka’s primary weapon and Henshin Device.

a powerful buster sword that cuts through most armor and weapons.

high normal & ice damage, very high sharpness, durability and precision that provides smooth & clean cuts, best if target is frozen.

(Kamen Rider Ryuki Advent Card weapon system)

Blizzard Rapier's

Fast, ultra durable and high sharpness. the dual blades are perfect to chain long and high-damage combos

Barraki Mode and Archbarraki mode allow hunters to get even more attack speed and damage. Their rapid nature make Dual Blades ideal for applying status effects. the Blademaster is able to use air itself to slice enemies, focusing a current of razor wind, in the form of white & ice blue energy, in which the caster launches at foes. a fine mist of ice crystals trails after each & every swing.

Frost Vortex - Ring Blade

(originally meant to be a spike feature for the shield but building limitations prevented that. however, its still a two piece shield that can be used separately or combined)

a cruel variant of the destructo-disk

this deadly recreation and improvement of a forgotten signature move, a razor-sharp disc of intense ice cold energy that can slice through most substances.

grazed by its freezing cold edges inflicts normal and elemental damage.

second, it rapidly spins to freeze its targets. and provides a ice energy shield or a hard ice crystal wall that greatly protects its master

Last but certainly not least, I finally got round to revamping the stoniest of Toa, Pohatu. I did want to try and do him in the style of the original sets, i.e. built "upside down" with the leg function, but I couldn't figure out a way to do it that looked good and still fitted in with my other revamps. So I've opted to do him a bit more like his Mask Of Light version, though positioning his gearbox slightly higher up gives him a bit of a beefier look to show he's still strong.

So, that rounds out the Toa Nuva team, but keep your eye out for something special soon...

5 down, 1 to go...

Flameboi's had the revamp treatment. He's got a different colour torso to the others I've done so far because I accidentally ordered the wrong type of torso from Bricklink, so I made do with this one instead. Still, I'm pleased with how he's turned out.

Now I've got to work out how to do Pohatu... Send help!

Got my Genus Look updated. (Legacy Update, different Hair)

Hi, just a little sign of life from me^^. I'm really busy right now, I have found a job, so I'm working full time now. Also I'm in the middle of moving to another city. Most of my dolls and supplies are packed away and I don't have much free time anyway right now. I'm working on a little modding / face-up project now and then, but I don't know when I will finish it, or when I come back to my dolls in a regular scheme.

So, I'm happy I can show my newest BJD purchase at least: a wonderful Supia Eunice head who replaced my LLT Edria head as Severine^^

before commenting, this MOC was builded back in 2009. But this is one of the only MOC's from then I found deserving some place here =p

A buffed up version of Metus. The shield is just stored on his back.

My favourite picture of that Mood Matchers set to date ... with nicer lighting! I can imagine TNT Barbie saying to Stacey: 'hurry up and decide on a frock, already!' ;)

I'm getting back into Bionicle since it's returning soon, so this is what I've been working on for the past week or two.

A few things to note about this:

- I realise the upper arms are rather basic, this was because I wanted a decent amount of possibility near the wings for the arms. I might have been able to get around this but I didn't really focus much on that part as they aren't very visible (especially from behind because of the wings).

- The cordak blaster being a bow serves little practical purpose, it's for style more than anything.

I probably need some practise if I'm going to get into Bionicle MOCing, so expect a lot more in the future. They should get better over time.

Here is my revamped version of 60278, modified for use by my railroad's Maintenance Of Way (MOW) department, instead of crooks. Features an oil heater upstairs, railroad track with garage door, skylight on the removable roof, and water tower. Oh, and the furniture seen inside has already been (mostly) built IRL.

I didn't bother putting a visor on this guy like I did in the WIP picture; he just looks better without it.

Each Turaga has a unique robe design to reflect their element.

It was fun coming up with these. Matau's my favorite. The leaf pattern really came out nicely.

After months and months, it's finally done. You can download a .lxf for the torso structure here.

I've been meaning to fill up the chest cavity on these things with some greebling for a while, but this is the only one I bothered doing it on.

The doors can open, obviously. On the older version, the seats were bright green. I've replaced them with old dark grey, which looks much more similar to the colour of the seats on the real vehicle.

Evo was my first breakout set and he was great, at the time. Now he's just this little guy with one swollen arm. To remedy that, I've completely rebuilt him. I was inspired by BobtheDoctor27's standardized heroes and wanted to adapt one of my favourites. Credit to him for the blaster and arm gun designs.

I really wanted to retain the color blocking of the original - Grey boots and the asymmetric arms, which I believe I've managed to do. The 2016 Toa torso is my favourite thing to come from G2, It's super easy to adapt and the waist function is just ideal. I will (and have) be making more Hero Factory heroes using this base structure.

I'm very happy with the look of this, apart from the light grey... *sigh*

HEAVILY influenced by Brickmania, seeing as his is just so epic.

Matoran revamps. Tried keeping the feel of the original "McToran."

Also wanted to use as few parts as possible as well as using easily acquirable parts. This means I made some sacrifices (gray legs), but it had to be done in order to fill the criteria I had for the builds.
