I picked up this old wood cabinet door for $1.00. i decided to strip off the old paint and sand it to try and get to the original wood. What a job that was! I still wanted it to look rough, so I did not completely sand it down. I then used a Lazertran transfer of a sunflower photo. I finished it off with several coats of polyurethane spray. It is still drying. I put some decorative rings on top and attached a chain to hang it. I'll post another shot when it is dry and finished and can be hung without dripping.

Reversible reusable grocery bags made fom a pattern I partially drafted based on instructions from
earth girl fabrics, but I lined the bag completely to make it sturdier rather than just facing it. I think the hippo and elephant material is Kokka - the lining fabric (shown on top) came from Joann's. My attempt at assembly instructions accompany the photo of the polka dot bags.
These are 2 water fountains on the first floor of the Foy Building. They are close to the stairs, office, bathrooms, and are a midway down the hall from both exits. This promotes students to bring in their own reusable water bottles to be filled up or to just drink from the water fountain instead of a plastic water bottle.

It's pretty simple really, The ReUse Project is about finding multiple uses for things and throwing nothing away that doesn't have to be. ReUsing is kind of like Recycling, only we arent geting rid of things, we are finding new uses for them.
Here are a few examples of how you might ReUse...
Example 1:
I was walking down the street the other day when i found ________ in the trash. I decided to take ________ home and turned it into _________.
Example 2:
I had _______ sitting in my closet for the last million years and I finally did something with it.
Example 3:
I got _________ for my birthday this year, and i really didnt like it, so i cut it up and turned it into _______.
There are many ways to ReUse.
