La Mavaseria és el bar a vins del Centre d’Interpretació de la Malvasia, un espai amb encant, a l’aire lliure i obert al públic on tothom que ho vulgui pot venir a prendre un vi sota la figuera.
Avui i fins les 19h, hi trobem a les persones responsables dels cellers que produeixen els vins, amb una fira de més de 50 malvasies que, per primera vegada, posa a l’abast de la copa totes les referències monovarietals possibles: joves, amb criances, escumoses, dolces i rancies.
A més, hem tingut la visita especial d’una delegació grega junt amb les nostres autoritats per gaudir d’aquesta ocasió única.

My response to Gail Brodholt. The medium chosen is digital using a Wacom Intuos Pro drawing tablet and Adobe Photoshop. These technologies were chosen due to the lack of access to printmaking materials during lockdown, therefore I tried to recreate Brodholt's style in photoshop through focusing on the formal element of colour. I wanted to present my creative intentions of how man in contemporary society is tied to the urban landscape which responds to the brief in presenting a form of manipulated landscape to raise awareness on the importance of these spaces. During this specific case of the pandemic I thought it would be fitting to convey the notions of London Transport with the colour green as a sickly and biological stigma. The fantastical choices in colour enhance the view of the pandemic as omnipresent, which would be a powerful installment at an exhibition in a public space. I specifically wanted to explore using urban scenes as a reference for my practice as it is more fitting than a rural landscape when presented with man. This is a development from my initial preliminary piece that presented the connection between man and urban.

This illustration is in response to Egon Shiele's 'Standing Woman in Red.' In this piece I have continued to develop my own style of illustrating; I have used a wide range of media, which include, watercolour, oil pastels, pro-pens, fine liner, graphite pencil and acrylic paints to create a variation on texture and colour.

A self portrait response, done on me as a lumberjack, because that's what most people (myself included) identify me as. Created completely freely using the grid on Adobe Illustrator. Apologies for the spaces between the squares, when I stretched out the design they split apart and whenever I tried to put them together again the whole character appeared too compact.
Mildred presented to me with a very swollen eye & poorly responsive pupil. I emailed an ophthalmologist pictures of her condition. I put her on antibiotics and her eye appeared to improve. She is booked in with a specialist soon.
