I don't mean the umbrella. I mean as photographers we should not forget our camera. Because we take pictures even when it is raining!
Is it right?
Wish you a great evening!

Queen Mary Falls in the Great Dividing Range, Queensland. Attempting to get a decent shot in a rather cramped position and with the sun not well in the west proved to be very difficult. You can walk to the bottom of these falls.
The falls are situated in the Main Range National Park and descend 40 metres (130 ft) from the McPherson Range near the Queensland/New South Wales border. They are located 50 kilometres (31 mi) south-east of Warwick and 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) east of the town of Killarney.
The falls formed when water erosion by streams created gorges through layers of basalt and resistant trachyte. The falls are currently retreating as large blocks at the bottom of the falls were not evident in photos taken in the 19th century. Facilities at the falls include toilets, tables and fireplaces.
Four other waterfalls are located in the area surrounding Killarney, including the Teviot Falls, Daggs Falls, Browns Falls and Upper Browns Falls.

"We've been swimmin' on the edge of a cliff
I'm resistant, but goin' down with the ship
It'd be so nice, right? Right?
If we could take it all off and just exist
And skinny dip in water under the bridge..."

The Pont de Normandie is a cable-stayed road bridge that spans the river Seine linking Le Havre to Honfleur in Normandy, northern France. Its total length is 2,143.21 metres (7,032 ft) – 856 metres (2,808 ft) between the two piers. It is also the last bridge to cross the Seine before it empties into the ocean. Despite being a motorway toll bridge, there is a footpath as well as a narrow cycle lane in each direction allowing pedestrians and cyclists to cross the bridge free of charge.
The bridge was designed by Michel Virlogeux, the general studies have been led by Bernard Raspaud from Bouygues, and the works management was shared between G. Barlet and P. Jacquet. The architects were François Doyelle and Charles Lavigne.[2] Construction by Bouygues, Campenon Bernard, Dumez, Monberg & Thorsen, Quillery, Sogea and Spie Batignolles[2] began in 1988 and lasted 7 years. The bridge opened on 20 January 1995.
At that time the bridge was both the longest cable-stayed bridge in the world, and had the record for the longest distance between piers for any cable-stayed bridge. It was more than 250 metres (820 ft) longer between piers than the previous record. This record was lost in 1999 to the Tatara Bridge in Japan. Its record for length for a cable-stayed bridge was lost in 2004 to the 2883 meters of the Rio-Antirrio. At the end of construction, the total cost for the bridge, all ancillary structures and finance costs was $465 million and was financed by Natixis. The bridge on its own cost €233 million (US$250 million).[3][4]
The cable-stayed design was chosen because it was both cheaper and more resistant to high winds than a suspension bridge. Shortly after opening, the longest cables exhibited excessive vibrations, so several damping systems were quickly retrofitted.
Sometimes I feel like this tree... Almost falling down.. Almost losing everything... Almost forgetting who created me and who is strong when I am weak... But then I also remember that I'm not alone, even in my thinking.. because God is with me.
Goblin Valley, Grand County, Utah. The valley contains thousands of hoodoos and hoodoo rocks, referred to locally as "goblins." The goblins themselves are formations of mushroom-shaped rock pinnacles, some as high as several meters. The distinct shapes of these rocks come from an erosion-resistant layer of rock atop softer sandstone. The two people standing bottom left give an idea as to the scale of the goblins.
in the late 1920s, Arthur Chaffin, later owner/operator of the Hite Ferry, and two companions, were searching for an alternate route between Green River and Caineville. They came to a vantage point about 1 mile (1.6 km) west of Goblin Valley and were awed by what they saw – five buttes and a valley of strange, goblin-shaped rock formations surrounded by a wall of eroded cliffs. In 1949, Chaffin returned to the area he called Mushroom Valley. He spent several days exploring the mysterious valley and photographing its scores of intricately eroded rocks.

Mica a mineral often present in metamorphic rocks. It was found near the head of the corrie at The Cairnwell, at the west side of Glen Shee.
The beautiful and dazzling sheen off the surface was incredible and is not justified in this photographic image! The surrounding lumps of mica could easily be broken with your fingers.
Mica is an aluminosilicate mineral which can be used as an electrical insulator and which is very heat resistant mineral.
Coffee is very resistant to fading so there is little contrast between the exposed and unexposed areas. This isn't helped by the light "leaking" underneath the grass seeds making the image less distinct.
It reminds me of those fleeting glimpses you get at the corner of your eye when you are not sure what you've seen.

There was an old BBQ left outside at the house we rent. I spent some time bringing it back to life with a sander and some heat resistant black paint. However, realized that I haven't treated the handle that controls the vents.....good news for the theme though :-) HMM!!
The Picardie glass is a strong French bistro glass designed around 1927 that is resistant to both cold and hot drinks. The typical shape makes the glass universal and practical because it fits comfortably in the hand and is stackable. It is widely used in both French hospitality and households. There are several sizes available.
The original classical design comes from the Compagnie de Saint-Gobain company and was aimed at manufacturing it mechanically. The uniqueness of the glass is that it forms a whole with the fingers to bring a liquid to the mouth. While the slightly outwardly formed edge of the glass spouts towards the lips, the glass remains on the forefinger and thumb below the smooth surface of this edge, and the remaining fingers find their way to the cannelures. This makes the relatively thick glass feel thinner than it actually is. This profile also increases the light glare. Although created for the practical purpose in the 20s of the 20th century, it has 18th-century characteristics of the French crystal of that time, recognizable by the faceted tulip shape.
