We had spent the night before camped in Laurel Hill photographing the beautiful Sugar Pine Forest and had set out that morning for the drive in convoy to Mungo.
I had been driving for around 5hrs when we started making our way through the Hay Plains and Bruce asked how I was feeling. I was completely content.
...and that’s the thing – Daily life in the city is a sensory overload. I feel as though I am constantly exercising my mind just to keep up with my eyes.
From the Hay Plains, one of the flattest places on earth, to the world heritage listed Wilandra Lakes life is pretty simple. There are no bright lights, no crowds, no traffic, nothing but you and the earth beneath you.
There is no better way to truly switch off and let the soul reset.

Doesn't work, as we all know. But I (all of us actually) do have a reset button in relation to my agendas, motivational drives and width of my perception. Why am I afraid of pushing this button? The clock is ticking anyway.
