Gone for an AC-Delco CS130 with the on board voltage regulator. Mount required a little butchery and it is quite a bulky unit requiring slightly longer belts but it's in and working. Just need to tidy up the wiring now. There are two spare wires from the alternator - one for a tachometer and one The tacho wire could later be wired through a relay to provide a starter interlock feature when the alternator is producing current as fitted on later bvh cars.
The remote sensor wire 'S' is connected direct to the positive battery terminal although I suppose it could just loop straight onto the Bat output terminal on the alternator itself.
The 'L' wire goes to the ignition warning light acting as an earth to illuminate the bulb when the ignition is switched on and once the alternator is putting out current denies the ignition warning light that earth thus extinguishing it.
Electrics are not my strong point.. .. ..

The East Branch of the East Branch & Lincoln Railroad crossed the East Branch of the Pemigewasset River by a substantial bridge about seven miles upriver of Lincoln. The bridge has been demolished but this view from the top of one of the original abutments shows a replacement timber footbridge resting on the stone piers of the original bridge. The original rail deck would have been at a higher level, at the height of the abutment on which I stood to take the photo and would probably have been a timber trestle.
This is a Minox C Spy Camera. It was my grandfather's, and I recently inherited it along with many other awesome cameras when my parents moved houses.

Panoramic view of our replacement car. This car replaces our Fielder, which was heavily damaged in early March (when it was parked at our house and we were in Sapporo - someone slipped on the icy road and smashed into our car, next to the house). Instead of a station wagon, we got a mini-mini van - it's not quite as long but holds as much. In some ways, it's not as nice as the Fielder, and in other ways, it's better.
