With nothing better to do, I headed over to Woking to see what was on rail replacement today (Sat 28/12/2024). New operator Chaseside turned up with one their smart-liveried E400 deckers, Fairmanns Travel had their recently repainted Dart/Pointer out, TK Travel showed off their recent rebrand livery, and a cheerful yellow decker of Chilternbus brightened up a rather dull day. Oh, and a bonus on the short walk to Spoons for a much needed coffee - a Safeguard Tempo!! Not a bad day in the end.

The LandCruiser 70 Series has been an icon for Toyota in Australia, finding favour with farmers and industry since its introduction in 1985.

the rubber is some kind of shrink material. It gets heated and shrinks over the barrel. Some manufactures use a glue and some don't. you can tell if your rubber slips. Slit the thing down one of the grooves between knurls and slip your knife under the edge and lift carefully. It peels right off. The Tokina had little ridges under the rubber and glue. Nice bond, unlike the Komine.
Lay the old piece over the one you just cut to get the dimensions and cut to size.
Do some checking before you cut, 'cause you only have one shot at this...

7th of September Weston Bike Night Ride Out 2014
A ride out to raise funds for a replacement Caravan for Weston Bike Nights with over 50 Bikes in attendance each making a donation.
The ride took a scenic route starting at Morse’s Motorcycles, onto Brent Knoll, Mark, Wedmore, Westhay, Meare, Glastonbury, Pilton, Binegar, Farrington Gurney, Clutton, Bishop Sutton to a rest stop at Chew Valley Lakes for a drink and nibbles, then towards Compton Martin, Blagdon, Lower Langford, Congresbury, then heading back to Weston Super Mare to finally arrive at Davan Caravans for a presentation where the replacement Caravan was handed over to Lyn Lovell (Weston Bike Nights Organiser).
Many thanks to all who attended, Morse’s Motorcycles, Davan Caravans and all the Marshalls and Volunteers, it was a eventful ride out. Only 1 major breakdown (Ray!!!!), all made it safely back (we think) some interesting diversions! Everyone had a great ride.
