Old an new Botlekbridge.
.
The new construction reaches out like scary tentacles to the old Botlek bridge from 1955. The old bridge was eventually replaced by a new modern Botleg bridge in 2015. It promised to be a lot more traffic capacity, but turned out to be the start of numerous disruptions and an unreliable transport route for companies in freight- and train transport and many more other users of the A15 motorway. Those responsible seemed to be not connected at all.
@Quote: Als tentakels grijpt nieuwbouw naar de oude #Botlekbrug en werd in 2015 vervangen. Het verkeer ging van A naar vele problemen.

Botlekbrug - Infrastructure
Botlek Brug (Est. 1955 and 2015) - a lift bridge for road and rail traffic across the Oude Maas in the Rotterdam port area. Opened in 1955 and replaced in 2015 by an entirely new bridge within the plan of reconstruction of the A15 highway. The Botlektunnel has been located right next to the bridge since 1980. The bridge connects to the port railways and the Betuweroute and is the route for dangerous goods that are not allowed through the tunnel. The new Botlek bridge is 1200 meters long, has two movable lifting parts, a span of 92 meters and can open and close in 90 seconds. This makes it one of the largest lift bridges in Europe.
The new Botlek bridge has been plagued by a large number of faults since its opening in 2015, of which the 100th fault occurred in 2017. This should decrease after recent adjustments.

There are no pix of before the floor was ripped out, all I can say it that it was nasty! The joice (s) however, were as good as new. Also this is the new toilet, having to be put in just for an afternoon only to be uprooted the next day for the tile project.
HEADS HAVE ALSO BEEN GIVEN A LIGHT ALL OVER SANDING ..AS I AM CHANGING THE PAINTJOB TOO TO GIVE A MORE FRIENDLY MOUTH ..AND BETTER FOCUS TO THE EYES.
THIS IS A TOTAL 'MAKE-OVER' FOR THIS CHARACTER : NOT JUST A CHANGE OF COSTUME COLOUR.
THIS IS UNUSUAL FOR ME. BUT IT SHOULD PRODUCE A NICE SET OF VERY ATTRACTIVE JOEYS ( AND DUPLICATE VERSIONS)
Replacing the trunk weatherstrip with product from OER and Classic Industries.

I picked up this old Stanley level at least 15 years ago. It has always indicated true, but the glass was beat up, and a couple of the pieces were broken. I finally decided to see what it would take to replace them, and it wasn't much. The old pieces popped right out, and new ones, cut from some clear plastic I had, popped right back in.
