Well will never repeat this shot, someone only gone and built a country halt where I am stood, how inconsiderate ;)
From our GRIPS walkabout last night in downtown Waterloo...a great time out with all! This one is cropped for composition, converted for B/W and a few lights cloned to simplify the image...
It's been right there for quite some time this building. I was actually doing a totally different kind of shoot this day, but as I parked my car more or less in front of this building I just had to grab a shot of it.
Mamiya RZ67, 50mm wide Sekor lens, shot on B&W film, probably Ilford FP4 or maybe even Fomapan 100.
BAGS (Argentina) 4-6-0 steam locomotive with a passenger train. This was one of repeat orders from Beyer Peacock. Note the locomotive's upwards hinged buffers. Exact date and location unknown, but the two-axle wagon immediately behind the locomotive, which seems to be a wagon for carrying extra water for the locomotive, could be a clue. The entire BAGS network runs through the Pampa region where there is plenty of water. The only exception is the line that runs west from Bahía Blanca to the Alto Valle del Rio Negro and Zapala, passing through completely deserted stretches where there is no water. The photo may have been taken on that line and the type of vegetation seems to correspond to that of the Alto Valle, especially the poplars
Included in BAGS's fleet of Beyer Peacock locomotives were Nrs. 316 - 361, 426 - 445, 377 - 386, 446 - 455, and 250 - 259
The Buenos Aires Great Southern Railway (BAGS) (Spanish: Ferrocarril del Sud) was one of the Big Four broad gauge (1,676 mm) British-owned companies that built and operated railway networks in Argentina. The company was founded in 1862 and the first general manager was Edward Banfield after whom the Buenos Aires suburban station of Banfield was named, when it opened in 1873. After president Perón nationalized the Argentine railway network in 1948, it became part of the state-owned company Ferrocarril General Roca

She's back! I took her picture at last year's con. I missed the big group shot of all the Slave Leias posed around Jabba the Hutt (the rumors were flying around that the picture was happening on Friday, but on Friday I found out that it had happened on Thursday....)
Oh I do love a good leaf image! Winnie & Walter and Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember collaboration 😀

Mass Coastal Railroad proves that history does indeed repeat itself. MC 2011, an ex-New Haven FL9M and a recent addition to the roster, crosses the Cohasset Narrows railroad bridge with the Train to Christmas Town. The 1935-vertical lift bridge proudly stands in the background.
With a few exceptions, this photo could easily be taken in the 1960s when New Haven was running the "Day Cape Codder" or the "Neptune" service from New York to Wood's Hole and Hyannis.
Because you can never account for seeing the same 66 twice on 2 rail outings...
Afer being witnessed on 6T78 through Harlow Mill on the weekend, GB Railfreight Class 66 diesel locomotive 66716 'Locomotive & Carriage Institution' reappears to my camera at a cloudy Elsenham whilst working 6M14 10:17 Harlow Mill Ai Gbrf to Bardon Hill Gbrf northwards.
The train was forced to a stand here due to a seeming inability for the platform starting signal to be cleared easily, with a 317 and 170 also forced to stop and stay prior to 6M14 appearing 25/04/19
This is the actual pattern.
See how the tip of the boat on the lower right matches up with the boat on the lower left?
Holly: Happy New Year.
Rosy: Happy New Year.
Ivy: Happy New Year.
Yume: Wait! Stop! I am out of order. Lily comes next.
Lily: How strange to be number five.
Yuki: You are not number five. You are number one.
Lily: What do you mean?
Yuki: We are all number one in lindamom's heart.
Yume: Happy New Year.
Lily: Happy New Year.
Yuki: Happy New Year.
Holly: We hope that you all have a year filled with health and happiness and good food and cold drinks and plenty of dolly time. We hope to see you if you come to blytheconNYC2013 and if you don't come we will think of you with extra love. We hope you have plenty of time with your families and friends and that your photos are not fuzzy and that your mail comes on time and that you do not have money worries and that the floor is not cold when you wake up in the morning and that your animals stay healthy and that those of you who have mothers that bother the hell out you decide that they don't want to bother the hell out of you and that Daryl on the Walking Dead does not die and that when you type long things on your computer that they do not disappear. We hope the Traveling Blythes do not get caught in customs and that eyechips don't pop out and that hair does not get static and you eat plenty of cheese.
Rosy: We hope that...
Me: My sweet Rosy, please everyone knows that Holly spoke for all of you and you all don't need to repeat it.
Rosy: OK lindamom. Just one more thing. Our beautiful dresses were made by Mel (kittenlash) and are a gift from her and the sweet and beautiful kittenlashes. They are beautiful and look like the precious metals were knit into dresses. Holly, Ivy and I have had our for a few months but she sent over Lily, Yume's and Yuki's in time for New Years.
Ivy: She wrapped them in scented paper!
All: Thank you Auntie Beautiful Kittenlash! We love you very much.
Yuki: Why don't you tell us what you wish for.
Yume: Also isn't this mochi that Auntie Katie sent us for the year of the snake adorable! We will eat it tomorrow.
It's funny how a skirt can hang in the wardrobe for months, unworn, and then suddenly, after wearing it one time, you keep on wanting to reach for it :-)
I have a new exhibition 'Repeat & Reflect' at the Zeigler Gallery. I'd be delighted if you went and took a look.

Dreamers by Cica Ghost
In a surreal world canopied by a magical sky, sixteen figures look upward to dream. This is one of their dreams brought back to the kitchen table.
