Tema de la semana 31 del grupo "52 semanas / 52 palabras": REPETICIÓN

Took the x100 out on this day for use, though didn't find much to shoot throughout the day.

As it turns out this shot was taken literally as I got back home instead!

Just curl and repeat.

This is from a different sago with the unfurling at a different stage.

Back to something safe (rather than lizard porn). haha...

Harish Chandra Ghat

Harish Chandra Ghat is one of the oldest Ghats of Varanasi. Harish Chandra Ghat is name after a mythological King Harish Chandra, who once worked at the cremation ground here for the perseverance of truth and charity. It is believed that the Gods rewarded him for his resolve, charity and truthfulness and restored his lost throne and his dead son to him. Harish Chandra Ghat is one of the two cremation Ghats (the other being Manikarnika Ghat) and is some times referred as Adi Manikarnika (the original creation ground). Hindus from distant places bring the dead bodies of their near and dear ones to the Harish Chandra Ghat for cremation. In Hindu mythology it is believed that if a person is cremated at the Harish Chandra Ghat, that person gets salvation or moksha.

February, 2015.

Repeat offender because I really liked the way the shot I took a week ago came out... Same perspective, different trees... i like this one more because the surrounding trees are the same, and for some reason, the photo came out with a heaps better composition. I also really like the single leaf there in the middle...

Friday morning, Feb. 18th, this will happen again as viewed from the Municipal Pier in San Francisco.

I won't be there myself but if the weather is clear I'm sure someone will be.

I'm planning on a Treasure Island shoot the next morning, the 19th. Twice the distance from the bridge means the bridge will appear half the size with the moon staying the same. Should be some great shots... weather permitting of course.

This was the very last shot I took of the moon that morning, after this it made a quick disappearance.

“Take two photographs in the same frame”

...

It's Noon-o'clock, Saturday the 11th, 2025.

Around 8:12AM this morning the sidecar

was being scrubbed eliminating a bunch

of dirt, grime, chips of paint and bad stuff.

So, the current plan is to start painting

primer on the bottom straps then, rest.

After the allotted nap time has been

finished more primer will be applied.

This process will repeat itself

for the next couple of days.

Now you know what I know ;-)

Pandemicking between the cracks

She's back! I took her picture at last year's con. I missed the big group shot of all the Slave Leias posed around Jabba the Hutt (the rumors were flying around that the picture was happening on Friday, but on Friday I found out that it had happened on Thursday....)

Oh I do love a good leaf image! Winnie & Walter and Simon Says Stamp ‪STAMPtember‬ collaboration 😀

Mass Coastal Railroad proves that history does indeed repeat itself. MC 2011, an ex-New Haven FL9M and a recent addition to the roster, crosses the Cohasset Narrows railroad bridge with the Train to Christmas Town. The 1935-vertical lift bridge proudly stands in the background.

With a few exceptions, this photo could easily be taken in the 1960s when New Haven was running the "Day Cape Codder" or the "Neptune" service from New York to Wood's Hole and Hyannis.

Several hundred people turned out for the "Good Trouble" event in Vero Beach, Florida on July 17th, 2025. Today's "Good Trouble" event was a nationwide day of action called "Good Trouble Lives On," honoring the legacy of the late Congressman John Lewis. It involved over 1,600 events across the country, focusing on peaceful, nonviolent action and organizing rooted in the Civil Rights Movement, but addressing current challenges. Specifically, the protests targeted the Trump administration's policies related to civil rights, including deportations, healthcare cuts, and attacks on voting rights and social programs.

This is the actual pattern.

"Four people have died of COVID-19 in B.C. since Friday, and 294 new cases of the virus have been confirmed.

There is now a record-high 1,107 active infections of the novel coronavirus in the province out of 5,790 to date, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry announced Monday.

The number of COVID-19 patients in hospital has risen to 28, including 10 in intensive care. There is one new outbreak in a long-term care home in the Fraser Health region.

Since the province entered Phase 3 of its recovery plan, active cases have spiked beyond what was seen in the spring.

So far, Henry has been resolute in her approach, despite the increases. Earlier this month she said contact tracing was working to keep the spread of the virus in B.C. in check."

Because you can never account for seeing the same 66 twice on 2 rail outings...

Afer being witnessed on 6T78 through Harlow Mill on the weekend, GB Railfreight Class 66 diesel locomotive 66716 'Locomotive & Carriage Institution' reappears to my camera at a cloudy Elsenham whilst working 6M14 10:17 Harlow Mill Ai Gbrf to Bardon Hill Gbrf northwards.

The train was forced to a stand here due to a seeming inability for the platform starting signal to be cleared easily, with a 317 and 170 also forced to stop and stay prior to 6M14 appearing 25/04/19
