Back in August of this year I took the same exact shot of 867 heading north here, albeit it was about 70 degrees warmer!!!

♫ Tori Kelly - Joy To The World / Joyful, Joyful ♫
Joy to the world, the Lord is come
Let earth receive her King
Let every heart prepare Him room
And Heaven and nature sing
And Heaven and nature sing
And Heaven, and Heaven, and nature sing
Oh, joy to the earth, the Savior reigns
Let men their songs employ
While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains
Repeat the sounding joy
Repeat the sounding joy
Repeat, repeat, the sounding joy

It's always good to get clean, and why not do it in a fun way? This is the best and funniest cleaner I have seen in SL. It throws you around, and it spins you right around. Now you can have fun getting dirty and almost as much fun getting clean, lol. Rinse and repeat.
Flynn thoroughly approved of this week's challenge in the 52 Weeks for Dogs group: "Catch". I suspect he'd be very happy indeed, if every week's photo for the entire year could revolve around games of catch...
It's funny having a more typical toy-obsessed pet border collie around. I had to teach Flynn's "big brother", Barney to play with toys when I first got him & despite a lot of encouragement from me, Barney's never developed that single-minded focus on them which many people associate with the breed. Barney will usually play with a ball if you happen to bring one along on a walk but generally, he rather quickly loses interest & wants to do something else. Flynn would play for hours without getting bored - with him, taking toys on walks isn't optional!
Flynn lives for games of catch & fetch, to the point where he'll attempt to force you into a game, if you try to stop playing. Whenever the ball goes away, Flynn will start hunting around for a twig or pine-cone. He then places the improvised toy so that it lies directly in your path & is impossible to avoid (he does with great care & planning - often involving him making several adjustments before he's happy it's in the ideal spot!)... If you ignore the offering & step over it, he rushes in to pick the "precious" back up, skips ahead a few paces & puts it back down in front of you again. He will repeat this as many times as it takes until you give up & start kicking it for him to catch. It's really easiest to just give in quickly - or better yet, not try to stop the game in the first place ;-)

I believe I can see the future
Cause I repeat the same routine
I think I used to have a purpose
Then again
That might have been a dream
I think I used to have a voice
Now I never make a sound
And I just do what i've been told
I really don't want
Them to come around
Oh no
A simple fragment spied in the city mixed with ICM, intentional camera movement, creates a wondrous pattern that delights my eye. Contrasting textures and shapes and colors all add to an orderly repeat of elements and patterns.

In August, CEFX 1002 made its first appearance on the North Toronto Sub (in the CMQ scheme) nose-out DPU on 113. Today, 1002's twin; CEFX 1006 appeared in the exact same position on the exact same train and is seen here pushing hard on the rear of the daily Montreal-Vancouver stack train as they clear Bartlett Avenue at mile 4.6 of the North Toronto Sub.
I only went to fetch something, then returned to find my place was occupied. This was Daisy’s chair too. When I bought the chair I thought it was mine - obviously I was wrong!
Office building in Bergamo, Italy which I think may just have been recently abandoned as there didn't seem to be any signs of life in there and the gates etc were all locked up.
Thanks for looking 🙏😊

A 17 minute single frame exposure of the quirkily shaped lighthouse at Dovercourt. Taken just after sunrise on a beautiful summer morning, exposures of this length are usually a one shot deal – in most cases there’s not enough time for a repeat performance if you mess it up. And so with that, it pays to ensure that the things which you can control are, well….contolled. Such as the focus and the tripod position. There’s nothing worse than nearing the end of a very long exposure to find that the incoming tide has suddenly eaten away your sandy foundations and tumbled your kit into the water. Although this does result in some entertainingly colourful words. But one thing you really can’t control are other people. Specifically ones with dogs. And it seems that no matter how empty the beach is when you first unpack your camera, just as soon as you press bulb mode a hairy ball of trouble appears, all wagging tail and excited dribbling. Now don’t get me wrong- I love dogs but I’ve never understood their need to mark anything which sticks out of the ground with their scent. I mean, I don’t do it, and neither do you. Probably. So rather than a relaxing experience during which I could have smoked 3 cigarettes (if I partook in that habit, which I don’t) or maybe listened to some Pink Floyd, it becomes a frantic game of siege during which you have to gently shoo the offending canine away whilst pretending to smile. On the other hand, dogs are far easier to deal with than curious people, so maybe I shouldn’t complain.
